We also lose Felipe Franks.

Why?

The third team in the mix for Franks currently is FSU. Fisher at LSU may actually reaffirm his commitment.

We would gain

Plus most likely we'd keep most of the recruiting coaches..

LSU is an established program.. Recruits will come here and we don't have any in state competition.. With an even better coach you might see even less top talent leave stare

Jimbo took Booty and made him All SEC. He took Rohan and made him All World. He recruited Russell and Flynn and turned them into QBs capable of winning the National Championship.
What has Miles done with QBs that he recruited. I suspect, based on Jimbo's record with QBs, if given the chance, he will turn Harris into and All SEC caliber QB.

Is Les taking the school with him when he leaves? Like does his replacement have to be the coach of the Baton Rouge Bengals or something?

If not, I think whoever it is will be ok.

I'm not the biggest fan of Jimbo either, we can do a lot better. He would be a good last resort though if we were to strike out on coaches like Dan Mullen, or Chip Kelly among others.

LSU recruits itself. Any coach with a name is going to do fine, esp if its jimbo

You make some stupid posts dude.

- national championship winning coach
- won another national championship as OC
- won his conference the past 3 years
- coached at LSU for 7 years
- recruited SEC country his entire career
- runs a modern pro style offense and is a legit QB guru
- notable QBs he has recruited and/or coached (Dameyune Craig, Rohan Davey, Matt Mauck, Jamarcus Russell, Matt Flynn, Christian Ponder, EJ Manuel, Jameis Winston)
