played for the national title, this is it.

OU beats Ok State, Bama and LSU play a close one and it's not only possible, it might be likely.

I still don't think you deserve to play for a nat. Championship if you aren't good enough to win your own conference.

did you watch Stanford last night? They gained over 400 yards on the ground against a BCS ranked opponent and their best player, Andrew Luck the QB, is rated 100 by the ESPN NFL scouts.
No one has ever been rated 100 before.

If Ok State, Boise, Stanford or Clem goes undefeated, the 2nd place team in the SEC west is going to host the Sugar Bowl while the 1st place team plays the undefeated ACC/PAC12/Big9 or Boise.

UA and LSU are the best two teams in the nation right now! I agree with this post.

Bits and pieces, but I have sen them play twice before last night.

That means absolutey dick in the national title picture. IF they go undefeated, its possible they could remain ahead of a 1 loss LSU or Bama, but just saying IF there was to ever be a national title game between 2 teams from the same conference, this year is closer than 2007 between Michigan and OSU.

If you do,ou're the idiot. The search function is a much more appropriate tool to see if your topic has already been posted. Fortunately for me, none of the words I entered in the search revealed a previously started thread.

But hey, if you want to search page by page, go ahead.

While I might agree with you there, it doesn't change the fact that IF it were to ever happen, this year looks like it is setting up to be a "best case scenerio"

Although very interesting to talk about, this will never happen. Furthermore, what would be the talk if the loser of the nov. 5th game wins the NC? The NC losers, who won the nov. 5th game and sec championsip, will be asked to prove themselves too much IMO. If these two teams would play each other 10 times, each team would win 5 of the 10.
