If that had been Miles/LSU last night instead of AU/Malzon

Blowing a 21-3 lead, would the LSU fans have pitchforks in hand at Miles house when he returned to run him out of town?

Seems like everything I read from AU, their fans are grateful they were in the game and played their hearts out even though they blew that kind of lead.

They would have pitchforks ready if we were up 21-3 and won 21-20.

Yes. Some people have made up their minds about Miles no matter what he does.

Those people would rather feel right than happy.

Or think if we would have lost the National Championship 21-0 or something like that. Then it really would've gotten bad

If LSU had gone from a losing record and a first year coach put them in the BCS title game and were less than a minute away from pulling off the win? Yeah, I imagine LSU fans would be disappointed, but optimistic for the future.

Auburn finished last place in the SEC West last year and were 500 to 1 odds of making it to the title game this year

So yeah our fans probably would

Some LSU "fans" always have a pitchfork in their hands.

Some people are still not over LSU blowing a 20-0 lead against UT in his first year. It was that game that led Bo Pelini to swear he wouldn't speak to the media any more. The fans went ape-$#!@ and some of the nega-tigers on here are a result of that game.

Any fans would, but IDK. If LSU was a double digit favorite and lost like that in the last seconds, so be it would be my thoughts. It would suck, but it would not be nearly as bad as 1/9/12

Much worse than actually winning at some point during the game like lastnight.

the 2 do not compare. Auburn was a shite wreck last year and went to the ship this year. As of now their fans are as happy as a pig in shite.

Not to mention big dogs going into the game. They have to be happy with the way the team played even though it sucks to lose that way.

Agreed. First year coach of a team that went 3-9 (0-8 in SEC) last year and led them to the national championship game this year. I'd say Auburn fans are pretty happy.

Nope, Les Miles is perfect. If LSU blew a lead, it would be the fault of "young defense", freshman qb, some kids just want to leave the state, collective bargaining agreement, Mettenberger's interceptions, Ryan Perriloux, Jordan Jeffersons legs, 78% wins, remember the 90s...

Right, LSU2006?

Right, because Miles is never blamed for a loss?

Blowing a 21-3 lead IMO. We at least beat Bama at home late in the season and we all knew this was their mulligan.
