Are we happy to keep him as HC? Or still look for replacement?

I really would like to get an modern offensive minded HC in there. I love Coach O though and if we looked good (beat Bama?) I wouldn't be against it. We would just have to have a homerun OC hire.

I would love Coach O as head coach if he does well (beats Bama and/or wins at least 9 games including bowl) and we can get a really outstanding offensive coordinator.

Saban wasn't a knockout hire either when he came here.

Plus that was forever ago in football terms. They say he's made a lot of progress in his coaching.

Coach O is a great D-line coach. That's where he belongs.

I can't think of any D-line coach that became a great head coach. They do bag drills with the fat boys.

The team will look better and play more inspired right away, and Coach O knows this role well. He probably won't be a candidate for the perm job and I don't presume he'd be hot for that role at this time.
