Ok Jethro. I'm assuming you've never been through a coaching search? Lots of names pop up...some legit, some not. Some are agents trying to get raises, others are courtesy interviews. If you are gonna shite your pants at every name that pops up you are in for a long ride.

I think its CP and maybe Ogre. It makes a lot of sense and there are La/miles connections. Cross your fingers and take it easy.

If hiring Stoops gets CLM out, I'm all for it.

With this AD and HC - might be expected. If they pull in PC and O, I will definitely give them credit, but it will be a "parting of the Red Sea" level miracle.

Oklahoma defensive coordinator Mike Stoops will interview for the same position at LSU, reports News9 out of Oklahoma City. News9’s Dean Blevins, citing sources, reports LSU head coach Les Miles will offer the job to Stoops at a 6 p.m. CT meeting in Dallas. Blevins reports if offered, Stoops will likely take a few days to mull the decision. Miles is looking to replace departed defensive coordinator John Chavis, who left earlier this week for SEC West rival Texas A&M. FootballScoop is reporting that Sooners head coach Bob Stoops told his staff they were free to look for work elsewhere, though that reportedly does not apply to his brother.

Just saw this.

I hope Les does hire stoops. Then we can fire Les after next year and get rid of his Stone Age offense!

he can't possibly be under serious consideration, can he?
Clancy looked perfect for that job.

Follow this advice. Recall those early rumors of Chavis going to TAM and how that worked out...... oops
