We would get over it...eventually.

Now if Miles wins a NC as Ole Miss, I'll help Chicken burn this place down.

It would be the ultimate melt (even worse than 1/9) if Miles/Ole Miss beat LSU with his decrepit ball control offense.

Sadistically, I'd love to see the reaction from every single one of O's shameless supporters on this board.

It wasn't just that he couldn't beat Bama, it was that we would collapse after that game the rest of the season

Oh hey look another Rant myth to justify shitting all over the most successful coach in LSU history!!!

SEC record after Alabama game:

2012: 3-0
2013: 2-0
2014: 1-1
2015: 1-2

Half of our fanbase lost their fricking minds after 1/9/12.

The other half face melted during the 3 game losing streak in 2015, the only such streak in Miles' career, after climbing to a #2 ranking going into November 2015. Less than a year later he was fired and replaced with a coach that had a career 3-21 SEC record at Ole Miss.

Everything else is just revisionist history to justify being happy about firing a National Championship winning coach with the 6th best winning percentage in SEC HISTORY to hire the worst coach in Ole Miss history.

I think it's almost guaranteed that if he gets the Ole Miss job he will run a wide open, air raid offense. He would absolutely love to troll LSU like that. I wouldn't blame him.

He would no doubt run tha offense learning from LSU. Hell he may even hire little Briles.

He'd have to completely rebuild that team over a 3-5 year span which I know OM alumni, Admin, and fans would never sit there and say "Boy 5 years from now, we'll be sorta competitive in the SEC."

Given the sanctions that they are going to get hit with, they're not going to have a f*cking choice.

They're being hit with Lack of Institutional Control.

Also, this is at least their third major go-around with the NCAA. Remember, one of the big reasons Peyton Manning didn't go to Ole Miss is because they were getting ready to get hit with sanctions.

The only two schools that this will be comparable to will be SMU and USC.

LSU fans waited year after year for Miles to develop and deliver a new offensive philosophy. All of a sudden he's capable of delivering just that at OM, and on top of that outplaying Dave Aranda?

Truly it would be epic if he did, but I won't be losing sleep over the thought of it.

We saw Miles and LSU beat Ed Orgeron and Ole Miss 3 times in a row from 2005-2007. Who would have thought that we could fast forward to 2017 and possibly see Orgeron and LSU against Miles and Ole Miss.

You have it all figured out, man

...until Miles' team throws for 300 yards and beats us, then you'll be holding your dick saying, "Orgeron is an idiot."

Especially if he uses the secret playbook to do it. This place would explode.

Maybe Miles will screw up Patterson. At that point a movie should be made...

isaster scenario:

Miles gets the Ole Miss job. He somehow leads Ole Miss to a win on October 21st against Orgeron coached LSU.

Two weeks later, Saban beats LSU again.

There aren't even words for what would happen here. LSU's two greatest coaches beating LSU on back to back weeks while at the helms of Ole Miss and Alabama. That's some bad luck right there.

There are truly no words to describe what would happen here on the Tiger Rant OR the SEC Rant.
