It's a not unreasonable assumption. I mean damn. That's just being argumentative.

Well it's known that Aranda tries to avoid the limelight and most people that try to avoid the limelight usually don't want to be head coaches.

I mean. I strongly feel the O hiring was awful.

Then if you were in Alleva's shoes, who would you have hired or tried to hire instead?

I tend to disagree, as LSU must go after the best coach first. However, if coach O does a Charlie Strong on us, then obviously Aranda won't be the best coach available, as he would be a part of the problem instead.

You've wasted a lot of time and energy in this thread defending a moron.

I worry about how we keep him, but, I think he's got a strong future.

His future rides on the success or lack thereof of coach O, if coach O starts competing for championships again, then Aranda will have a very bright future. On the other hand, if coach O pulls a Charlie Strong on us, then Aranda's future will not be so bright.

A moron in your eyes, is a super intelligent guy and wonderful leader and person in everyone else's eyes.

That is most definitely not true. My source is the Internet, take your pick.

Well if you are too mentally handicapped to reason and rationalize accurately, then it doesn't matter who your source is.

Indeed, if you were in Alleva's shoes, who would you have hired?

Alleva was too stupid and/or weak and/or lazy to conduct an actual coaching search. Why and how has been detailed countless times at this point, both on this board and in the media. He did not act reasonably or rationally. He doesn't deserve another reasonable or rational post explaining that.

When my primary targets wanted to negotiate, I would've actually attempted to negotiate. Not pitch a fit, take my ball and go home.

If I missed on my primary targets, I would've conducted an actual coaching search. Not make the easiest and laziest possible hire.

Basically, I would've done my job the way the leader of a major athletic department is supposed to do his job.
