What does that do to you, do you get excited cuz our team is a champion. Or does it not count in your head. Does it get you excited for the future? Or Are you just indifferent because we went walking instead of dancing

if we were to win it all, it would be because JJ is actually trying to teach the kids defense, bc if we don't play defense we aint winning shite anywhere

so yeah i'd be pretty excited/shocked, considering he sucked at coaching defense this year

I want to see improvement in him as well as the talent on the court, im optimistic fwiw

If we won I'd probably be wondering where the hell was this all year

I would be very pleased to see a team relegated to a lesser post season tournament give it their all. Would say a great deal about them.

If we win the NIT you can expect a possible bannage from all the excitement I will bring to the board. It would be too much for anyone to handle.

It would prove a lot. It would make us all excited (including the players) for next year.

It definitely doesn't mean that we are 69th best team either. I hate that BS! There are waaaaay too many teams that get into the big dance that don't belong

I'll burn my sofa in the front yard! Maybe even recruit a few neighbors to try to turn over some cars on the block.

But there are 68 teams that make the field...so I guess we would be better than 3 of them?

It would be akin to winning the Bowl formerly known as Peach in FB. It's a nice accomplishment but still a mediocre season.

It would be a good sign for next year I think. We had a pretty damn good team on our home floor this year. That could have probably played with just about anybody.......at home. To me that means we have the talent, skill and physicality. On the road we were obviously pretty bad. and that to me means immaturity and mental weakness. If we were to win the N.I.T. it would go a long way in correcting those problems coming into next season.

20+ teams get in as auto bids from shite conferences. LSU is likely better than a good bit of those.

Which LSU team: The one that beat Kentucky or the one that lost to Rhode Island?

Man. Your logic gives me a headache. All teams have bad days. You obviously picked out our best game and our worst game, but for the most part I think LSU (average LSU team) is better than a lot of the auto bids.

Idk why people say winning the NIT makes you number 65, probably puts you atleast around number 50. I'd be pretty excited to win it, especially with the state out basketball program has been in the past few years

I wonder which #1 seeded Virginia team shows up this tournament... The one that lost to Tennessee by 35 or the one that beat UNC by 15?
