With 5 road games do to the flip schedule, I would call this season a success! If it took the State and Troy game to render this result, I'm good with that. One more great recruiting class with a few key Juco's and we are in contention for SEC west in 2018!

Let's shoot for an Outback bowl appearance vs Michigan!

10-3 here we go!

With the way they've been playing the past couple weeks, this is very doable. Man just a couple weeks ago I thought we'd be lucky to go bowling in Shreveport. The kids are playing with passion and heart right now.

Fuch that. We need to stop conceding a loss to Bama. If we do lose though, I want sugar. We need Auburn and Ga Tech to beat Georgia. Then Bama to whip their arse in the SEC title.

Why limit yourself with another loss? The SEC is still within grasp this season.

If LSU goes 6-2 in the SEC it will be the 1st time since 2012 we've had less than 3 SEC losses.

Based on opponents we SHOULD finish 6-2, but we know how that has gone in the past.

Only a win against Bama can make up for that ugly loss to Troy.

Under your rules there would be 2 threads to post in.

I dont think any of us believe we will beat Bama, but we can sure post "we might have a chance if" threads. The message board would get boring if every thread was rational and thought out.

I agree on the focus on Ole Miss game and enjoy the season btw. If we win there will be 2 weeks to dream about the ways to beat bama. And if we lose we can split it between "how bad do we lose" and "wouldnt it be crazy if we won" threads.

I agree that the non-rant, non-LSU fan would have said that only having two SEC losses and one non-conference loss would have been a good season for LSU.

Now, in hindsight losing to Troy and MS St. were not expected, but if we win out or win against everyone but Bama, I would still count this season as an expected one, maybe a success.

9 wins would be a good season. 10 wins would be a great season. Said as much before the season, and stand by that.

Exactly. Why submit to bama? Then turn around say "Losing to troy doesn't matter as long as we haul in some juco croots!" I've been reading this shite all week. Amazing what beating the worst Florida team in 30 years and an overrated Auburn does to people. Just win this weekend and get to the bye.
