If LSU fires Wade do you renew your basketball season tickets?

It would be a tough decision. Basketball could easily slip back into the Johnny Jones of coaching hires. I don’t want to sit in an empty stadium watching terrible basketball.

The NOA is a real story and would allow LSU to fire Wade for cause.

Depends on the circumstances.

If Woody fires him based on the NOA (which he can if it contains L1 or L2 allegations), then no, I'm probably out.

If we ride out the process and Wade gets hit with a Show Cause, not much you can do with that.

Auburn and Kansas showed you the blueprint of how to deal with this, do we follow that path or try to offer Wade as a way for leniency on the football program.

I will renew tickets, but I will discontinue my yearly donations to TAF.

This. Woody fired Wade only because he has the option and wants to hire another coach, they can have my 4 tickets back. I'm done.

I find it curious that Wade is the hill people are choosing to die on.

Depends on what happens. But if Woodward fires him just because he wants his own guy like the Rant keeps saying I may give up on LSU basketball for awhile

Sure, if that's how you want to paint it. I see it as maintained success being the hill I am dying on. Woodward has shown that he is a nearly perfect AD, however he hasn't had any success whatsoever in the realm of mens' basketball. Wade is an automatic single-digit tourney seed every year, and he hasn't come close to reaching his potential as a head coach yet.

People keep repeating this, but his contract is almost up and hasn't been renewed. They don't need cause to fire him.

Wade isn't getting fired over this. It's a bullshite story to begin with.

Paying players isn't even illegal any longer, and there was never proof he even did that.

1. This is real. LSU has received a NOA. It remains to be seen what we have been accused of.

2. I have had LSUMBB season tickets since 1976. If WW does NOT get a Show Clause, I believe that SW should NOT fire WW no matter what the NCAA threatens.

3. If SW fires WW when there is no Show Clause, my wife and I will have to consider whether we can continue supporting LSU Athletics under Scott Woodward. We have fball, MBB, WBB, and Baseball season tickets. I cannot predict what we'll decide.

If Wade is fired with out a show cause. I will be canceling baseball, football, womens basketball, mens basketball and gymnastics tickets. I will also stop my TAF donations.

Our SEC record has regressed each year since winning the regular season title.

It's weird how some on this board are more Will Wade fans than LSU fans.

Like I get it, it's cool to rally behind a coach who basically told the NCAA to go frick itself, but at some point, it becomes a tad obsessive. He's not anything special, just a decent head coach. LSU can do worse, but it can also do better.

NO I don’t have them, and yes I’ll back LSU to the hilt , but SW should not fire WW over the same shite that’s been regurgitated repeatedly for years now. If he is so anxious to get his own Who would that be, there are not young, hungry, strong Strong recruiting coaches with proven ability out there . There’s no white whale in mens b-ball however he did the Goat in WBB, but this was Allevas best hire God rest his soul. “Strong a$$ offer” with no proof of money exchanging hands is just that a strong arse offer. Smart was offered a guaranteed starting position, shoot all he wants, a running offense and some other good players coming in he knows from AAU and to start for a university you love. To me that’s a “Strong a$$ offer” come on Javonte please say yes I’m tired of you saying that ain’t enough, it’s LSU, your home school. Other than that you got him talking to a sketchy jailbird calling him a GANSTA, if he would’ve said I talked to him once, they wouldn’t have shite.
