Not so sure USC's offense would've done better than Bama. They would've had to make sure that Barkley was protected and make LSU respect their running game. I don't think either would've been the case had we played SC this season.

LMAO

Miles showed us on Monday that he will NEVER go through an entire season without at least one game with a total brain lapse.

We were not even close to showing up in that game. It was embarassing

The only thing that will get me over monday's loss is beating BAMA'S azz next year on November 3rd along with every other sport, basketball, volleyball, baseball, golf, dodgeball, water polo, red-light-green light,,,,,oh hell you get my point.

It could definitely happen. Our schedule next year is much easier than this year and We have bama at home. FUSC is a 2 man show if we stop woods we stop USC. Defense always and I mean always wins championships

That's the biggest weakness I see with USC..................defense. Not to mention, the scholarship reductions will kick in.

ask this because I'm a Southern California native and I've been out here for the past week. All my buddies out here are bragging about how they knew all along LSU had an anemic offense and that SC would've put a similar beating on us in that game.

Your friends are idiots. LSU's offense averaged 35.71 ppg to USC's 35.75 and that includes the goose egg in the NC game.

LSU also scored 10 more Offensive TDs than USC this season and that is vs. the #1 strength of schedule in the country vs USC's #22 ranked schedule.

Throw on top of that USC's defense gave us 23.58 ppg and they lost to Arizona State, all of this tells me they should STFU.

LSU is not likely to win the SEC West next year. Satan owns LM.

So you call a 3-3 record ownership?

That is my prediction for the game next year. LSU gets redemption over USC in the Orange Bowl BCS game.

Although I am not caught up in the whole hating USC for what happened in 2003, I do think I would rather see the match up in any bowl game than be in a NC game with a match up not as ideal.

I have observed that teams who have won the National Championship over the years seldom return to the National Championship game the ensuing year. They usually lose 2-3 (or more games). And they don't get all the breaks that seemed to contribute to the success. Perhaps it's Sports Entropy. So I don't look for Bama to be there this coming year. I still believe LSU will be back, though.

I think the sister of charity kindergarden team would have beat LSU monday.

If we had been play a different team, as in a team we had not already played, we would have prepared better. Also, our game, our speed ect. would not have been such a known entity to them.

Undefeated or one loss (not to Bama), SEC Champs, and BCS Champs....hell ya the sting, if not all of it, will be gone.

Back to back appearances in the Big Game and going 1 for 2, good for me.

This would not be good, whomever we played. The BCS Orange Bowl isn't the National Championship game.

If LSU wins, there would have to be a rematch according to the Bama nation......

The national media is so desperate to have SC back to relevancy that as soon as Barkley said he'd be back, there was a collective jizz at sportswriters desks all over the west coast. They have been pumping this up so much already that SC is drinking the cool aid.

Everyone knew our Offense this year was "offensive" at the end of the year. The defense LSU had would have crushed them. 2012 could easily end up being SC/LSU. They are finally off probation and the 1 tough team they play all year will be Oregon.

Do you think a win over the Trojans in next season's BCS championship game would help alleviate SOME of the sour taste from Monday's championship game?

Yes it would get that shite taste out of my mouth. However, USC IMO will not be there. Lane Kiffin is still the coach and the thinning on their depth chart will take its toll if injuries set in.
I don't care who LSU beats as long as we win. Is it time to yet? I'm ready to crank the season up tomorrow... Oh wait, this taste will be in my mouth all summer.
