The outrage is simply because Les didn't make any changes in personnel or plays.

He didn't put him in, he just needs to own his decision.

Hell Les has disrespected J. Lee for 4 years, don't know why Jaret Lee stayed. He was a thousand times better than JJ. One GOOD thing about the end of this season. We never have to see #9 JJ ever step on the field again for LSU

It would have shown great respect to Jarrett Lee who was so disrespected by this coaching staff.

I think the outrage begins with not allowing a player who was there for the team when asked to step up and then thrown aside like he was garbage!

On that note, I have lost respect for Les Miles. Never should a coach treat a player the way he treated Jarrett Lee.

If Les had shot every arrow in his quiver and we still lost then I tip my hat to Alabama and say, "Good game, you were better." But to leave arrows in there will always invite the question, "What if...?"

They were both bad QBs, let's not try to rewrite history.

It would have certainly helped. Wouldn't have mattered most likely.

Saban locked himself into a closet and gameplaned for six straight weeks. He was not going to lose to lsu, miles AGAIN for a NC.

And miles did the worst possible thing (resting on his laurels), while the tide were feeding their hate.

I am now officially not a fan of the happy go lucky les club. It was cute, but it takes alot of work to take down that team last night, and our staff did not put in the work.

Yes, imo the fact that Les would give Lee a shot would've had me satisfied, but to sit him out of the biggest and final game of his season, I feel is disrespectful for Lee

But I think most logical people saw that QB wasn't the only reason we got thumped, and a change wouldn't have made THAT significant of a change.

We'll never know will we because he didn't even see fit to give Lee a chance

The point is that Miles should have done all he could to modify the way the offensive plays were going. If JJ couldn't or wouldn't pull the trigger on some downfield passing, then he should have put Lee in and said frick it, throw it or else.

I wouldn't be so upset. At least we would have tried something. All we did was go down without a fight.

I think people would be able to take the loss better. Jefferson has been, is, and always will be a horrible QB. Lee is not as good of an athlete, but a better QB. The change of pace was needed and should have happened. I'm not bitter about the loss, I'm bitter about the lack of effort to prevent it

This really hits the nail on the head.

It looks like we didn't even try everything that we couldhave and just became resigned to accept the way things were going and going very badly......

If you have exhausted all options then just accept that the other team was better that day. But continuing what hasn't worked all night is futile.

I would feel better if Lee came in and threw an interception, at least it would have shown that we prepared for more than a Jordan Jefferson show. The players gave up on Jefferson last night rightly so, when after every miscue he blamed the other player for not executing the play. If you go back through the year and listen to his interviews, he will throw in my team while the insuations are look at me (nothing new for this year).

I had no problem sticking with JJ until about halfway through the 3rd quarter. It was painfully obvious that the offense was getting nothing done and at some point in the game you have to make a decision to change something whether it is personnel, strategy, take chances, trick plays, etc.

I will equate it to poker. It is as if we were in a tourney and never played a hand while we waited for pocket aces, i.e. defensive or special teams TD. The aces never came and we were blinded down to nothing. At some point you have to make a choice to shove all in with whatever hand you have. We never even did that.

I will say this, the play calling had me more upset than which QB was in. We could have had Joe Montana in there and he wouldn't have done shite throwing WR screens and 5 yard passes. I would have liked to have seen Lee by late in the 3rd quarter but with those plays being called it likely might not have mattered.

I will tell you this, I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE EMBARRASSED TO BE AN LSU FAN THAN WHEN WE PUNTED ON 4TH DOWN LATE IN THE GAME. THE COACHES frickING QUIT!!!!! I WAS SICK TO MY STOMACH.

different perception for sure. At least it would have shown that he was attempting to win. Just looks like he threw the game. Might as well have started kneeling the ball from the the first play on offense. Like Ole Miss.

I don't know who was actually in that dome with me last night, but I saw a team and a coaching staff that gave up after the first half. During tv breaks the sideline looked like they were ready to hit Bourbon street and could care less about winning. I did not boo, but I sure would have cheered if the coaches would have tried something different that Bama hadn't already seen earlier in the season. I couldn't even stand up and cheer after the 3rd quarter. Pathetic

I just wanted to see change. I would have been happy with anyone other than Jefferson and that includes Mett.
