Start with some quick release screen throws, perhaps the quick dart to the TE or like the pass to Randle earlier in the year (recall the great 1 pass hope throw), then open things up with Ridley up the middle...

Then, a flea flicker to make Bama respect the pass downfield..

All this retrains the blitz option, with quick planned passes (kind of like what Peyton threw on MNF last night near the goal line).

The you may have a balanced approach that limits how much a blitz can spook Lee..

Just saying, this would be a good approach..

But #9 will start, so....

If Lee started.....

and was still bothered by a sprained wrist and threw approximately 50% completion percentage and an INT in three or so drives...

If he started against Auburn we could be undefeated.. Doesn't matter he didn't start then and won't now. Miles has a rule QB that gives us the best chance to win plays as long as that person is JJ.

I think so.. Did you see LSU moving the ball easily across the ground 1st series with a interception to a wide open receiver thrown way over his head.

We only lost by 7 that was a momentum killer in the first qtr.

Did you happen to notice the jersey # of the player who carried the ball on most of those runs?

Something tells me going 8 of 14 for 43 yards wasn't the spark our offense needed.

Does Crowton even know what a draw play or a screen pass is? Does Crowton know that you can actually throw a forward pass for more than 10 yards. Does Crowton know that JJ can not run an option play well, or that you COULD run in to the WIDE side of the field? Does Crowton know that on 3rd down and 6 that you should complete the pass beyond the 1st down marker? Does LSU know that down by 7 points with 3 minutes left in the game with a 4th down and 6 with NO chance of getting the ball back that you must have a good play ready with all 11 men on the field?

I really wish we could just run a pro-style offense. No more 5-wide sets out of the shot-gun, just simplify the playbook because every Saturday it looks like the offense is their own worst enemy.

It was obvious to everyone that LEE deserved and should have started against Auburn. LEE proved it to EVERYONE on the field. He single handedly won the first 2 games he was played in. Look no further than Miles' continued insistence to play and favor Jefferson over Lee for the vast majority of our problems.

STUBBORNESS - HARD HEADED - BELLIGERANT - SPITE

It's pretty hard to piss off an entire fan base and be 7-0. Miles managed to do it. How/Why? One reason (see above)!
