False... all 14 teams will make it, regardless of record. The only teams that don't play in the SEC tournament are those under a postseason ban, and none are this year.
The bottom 4 teams play on the first day, and the winners advance to the second round... so our season will most likely end there.

it really doesn't matter anymore, frankly. I understand and experience the mounting frustration. I think the game that "cost him his job" happened a while back. If he's still here now after this horrible string of futility, he will be thru March, barring him doing something illegal/criminal or grossly unethical. Like many have said there is not point in firing him now no matter how bad the team performs. Its now about the money they save, but hopefully the search is in full swing. If not, then Aleva needs to go as well.

Serious question ... while the basketball team is not doing well, is a lot of the animosity towards Coach Jones redirected animosity against Alleva?

I didn't mean fire him now, I meant after we lose out of SEC tourney in early March. I can't imagine going forward a month after our last game with Jones' firing in limbo.
