If it's time, LSU fans need to honor Les Miles as a coach/man/ambassador for LSU

I also think that it is time for him to go, if only because he is out of ideas on what to do. And, that is okay. It happens. He has had LSU at a high level of success for a long time. Like Saban said, it is very hard to maintain. He deserves our respect. He has never been anything but honorable toward LSU and has always had the best interests of his players and the University at heart.

It is time for a change. I agree. The game has changed and he cannot figure out what to do. That does not mean that Les has not been a great coach for LSU. We can talk about a change and realize that it is needed without destroying a man who poured his heart and soul into LSU and represented us well.

It is time. But, let's honor the man on the way out. IF this is his last game, LSU fans need to honor a legend and stop tearing the man down. You can make a change without destroying him. He deserves more than that.

Pathetic. You end up rejecting your own history just to get your way. Childish to the extreme.

He was paid nicely to coach and will be paid nicely not to coach. I do not give a crap about his feelings.

If he retires gracefully, he would get that

Nobody should hate the man on a personal level.

I will always be immensely grateful for having him as a coach.

Sometimes it's just time to go, amd this seems to be the case.

I hope we handle the exit with as much class as possible.

LSU will be repaying him back for years. Let the dust settle before building a statue

Well said. Those who mock this view are not true fans of the game and this school.

Give him a nice round of applause at the A&M game and then honor him with 15 million dollars. That's enough.

I'll be there Saturday and I'll stay through the alma matter he sings with his players to send him off....I just don't want him leading out the team after that

I respect what he has done at LSU and I'm grateful for the greatest run in LSU football history and the part he played in it

The best case for me would be for him to retire soon and have the school honor him. Then maybe have Frank or Orgeron named head coach or hire a coach who would keep those two. Then put Les in a capacity like Bertman raising money for the university.

Why don't we let him appoint BDP head coach as a way to honor his legacy of incompetence.

Mncbaby, look at this as a pr move. Not only is he deserved this but think of a coach who we may betrying to coach here and sees how we treat a coach who has maybe thebest winnjng percentage of any other coach in lsu history.

Wait seriously?

coaches are big boys who know how real life works, they don't need to see us coddling some clown to feel warm and fuzzy inside to decide they want to come to LSU, this isn't ULL were talking about here.

You people are just amazing with the stupidity

I think there was a big difference between say Curley Hallman and Les Miles. So being crazy with anger toward Miles like a real loser like Hallman who deserved to be fired doesnt seem right toward Miles.
