He's not getting the type of talent at Baylor that he can get here.

Aranda. I want nothing to do with Billy Napier and his defense that has a tackling grade in the 120s.

Love Dave. But, he canNOT recruit. He’s honestly just not good at it.

I’ll take Napier.

But it won't, so why waste the time asking? Besides, don't you read the Rant... you forgot Gruden is coming.

Don't want a failed offensive coordinator. Dabo had to fire him.

LSU footballs head coach should never be hired away from a place like ULL. There are a ton of better proven options at higher levels.

Y'all are dreaming if you think there is even a 1% chance that Gruden is considered for the job with our woke president at LSU

don't see a guaranteed loss on Baylor's schedule. They get BYU, OU, & Texas at home and Baylor will compete with them

I feel like Aranda is a pretty great hire. I mean we were ecstatic about getting him as DC 5 years ago, considered the top prospect (or easily top 3 at time) and he lived up to it. As HC his team was disappointing but was actually competitive in most of its losses. This year he looks to have them heading in right direction

I wouldn’t call him a home run, but he is a solid B hire. He won’t get out prepared like we have seen recently, I personally value that a lot in a coach.

Baylor is a genuinely woeful program. The results he would get here are likely not comparable

I’m a big Aranda fan but I’d like to go offense here

Just because you hire Aranda doesn’t mean there will be no offense.

He’s smart enough to know in today’s game he needs a good OC.

Same for Napier, o don’t think he will neglect the defense just because he’s an offense guy.

The idea that the new coach will only bring offense or defense is not realistic.

Napier isn't a very good offensive guy.

Billy Napier would out recruit Aranda in his sleep.

I’m not saying he is my guy, but having the two options.. I’ll take Napier.

Remember.....we are judging both by what they are currently accomplishing at their respective jobs. Napier is at UL with a win over ISU. Played decent against Texas. Let's see the Baylor season play out.

So had Pelini

Not the same, it’s not even close to the same. Aranda was running. LSU’s entire program at an elite level not O, and certainly not Pelini he was ruining it.

I rather a defensive guy as hc. So many offensive minded guys have shiate defenses...

Aranda will bring his guy over, a solid innovative coach to run offense..defense wins titles...

I.e. Saban defensive guy, got good oc's....several titles

If Napier was at a G5 school outside of Louisiana, how often would his name come up on this board?

How can you honestly say this? What’s he done as a head coach? Sure he’s 5-1, played one ranked team, no Texas or OU yet. He went 2-7 last year.
