Here is why:

1. If he’s dirty he’s fricked either way if they can prove it. If he has to say something else to the Feds to avoid purjury, fine, but that kinda falls in the “he’s fricked either way” category.

2. If they can’t prove it he’s back sooner.

His current options are:

1. Don’t talk: get fired for not talking.
2. Tell the truth: get fired for NCAA violations (if he’s dirty)
3. Lie: get reinstated maybe beat the rap.

The NCAA doesn't want to pull back the curtains on this whole deal. He would be fine if Alleva would just shut the frick up and let him coach.

Um yeah if the truth is “I committed NCAA violations” guess what the outcome is?

Fired for cause

It’s like you don’t understand what’s going on.

Not talking only works out if they can’t prove he committted a violation.

Great Character there Sammy...

Deny, deny, deny... I guess its the way of the world, but it isn't very honest.

Ever wonder why lawyers always tell you to say NOTHING instead of lying?

Normally because they can’t punish you for saying nothing:

Currently he’s being suspended and will likely be let go for not cooperating .

Not if you claim you can't because of a federal court case that's ongoing... Which is why he isn't fired with cause yet.

Clean or dirty he’s eventually going to have to tell joe he did nothing wrong.

What does he have to lose doing it now?

LSU could absolutely fire Will Wade at this point. They might decide to workout a buyout to avoid going to court because Wade’s people would at least try and say he was wrongfully terminated.

He isn’t fired because the administration wants him to coach they just want him to talk to them first. He is right by not talking to them but this is why we are at a stalemate until after the trial in April.

That is dumb idea. Isn't that why Mississippi fired their baseball coach, Andy Cannizaro.
Lying to your boss is a career ending offense.

If you’re lying about a cheating you’re fired either way if they find out you cheated.

They say it’s the crime not the coverup, unless the crime is really bad.

Like there is no reason not to try and cover up a murder.

Worst case scenario you’re still being arrested for murder.

I didn't say a thing about being without fault... i simply said.

I said intentionally telling lies to your boss because "you re fricked either way" is poor Character.... and I'll stand by that.

No need to argue with you... just my opinion, as yours is your opinion. To each his own.

So didn’t Jesus Christ say let those without sin throw the first stone?

Idk if you think it’s low character it’s pragmatic.

Because its not going to make any difference in all likelihood and if he did something illegal....get your story straight and stick with it.

Why do posters have to simplify things for you like you're a fking child or something?
