but the next you'd have the worst football season ever...

Would you have taken that offer?

I thought we were 6-4 at worst. I had no idea of how much talent has bled out of the program. So, what's your answer?

How about a coach that is competent enough to not have bipolar seasons? We fired Les for far less than what Coach O is doing. Coach O won a title just like Les and at the end of the day, it’s not how you win the hardware, it’s just that you won it. Saying that, Les never lost to Troy and never lost to Auburn and Miss St in historic fashion. Not to mention, both of those teams are not that good.
Coach O is an emotional decision maker. He has proven that time and time again. He even proved it last year in recruiting when he thought he had certain big fish and made room for them. He ended up whiffing and left holes in last years class. We need consistency and brains for our next coach. Coach O wasn’t even smart enough to steer clear of the Les Miles assistant coaching hire method. O went out and hired his old buddies or the popular name choice and all but 1 has failed. The one time he broke that cycle, it was a huge success. Rather than try and duplicate that, he went right back to his comfort zone.

2020 will be an afterthought and gone from everyone's minds in a few years.
2019 will live in infamy for the rest of our lives, literally.

I wouldn’t trade 2019 for anything. I can take this years game with a grain of salt. May even go camping for the Bama game, record it, and if I hear it was competitive give it a watch.

There’s plenty of talent

This team lacks toughness, focus, leadership and pride.

want to know why the Alabama and Clemson of the world don’t have seasons like this anymore?

because they don’t scramble to find ways to justify shite like this.

I'd take the deal. As long as we can go back to LSU Football next year.

I would take last year again if you told me we would go 0-10 this year.

I will never ever forget last year.

I would take this on a 2 year cycle for the rest of my life. Would give my liver a chance to rejuvenate.

Absolutely. This may be the 2nd worst season ever for LSU, but it's not even close to the worst of all-time for all schools. It's in a year when the lines are blurred due to COVID, teams with losing records and short seasons will be going to bowls and nobody will remember much of anything about this season other than the weirdness. No one will ever forget last year's season with Joe Burrow and Co. and how LSU completely destroyed everyone starting with the SEC Championship all the way through the title game with an unstoppable offense. A considerable number of people think 2019 is the best team ever out of all teams considering the competition and it's factually the best season any team has ever had when speaking in terms of highly ranked teams beaten in a season.

Yes because one fan's opinion or "justification" on an internet forum causes massive changes in a college football program's culture and directly impacts their record.
