I'm in agreement with the majority of this board in that I think it just may be time for Les and LSU to part ways.

However I really do hope that we, as a fan base, send the man out with as much honor and dignity as possible.

He's done so much for this school, this team and this state. He stood with us through Katrina when he was a stranger to the state. He has fought like hell for his players and he has brought a shite ton of joy to every Tiger fan in the world.

He deserves our respect

This. Undoubtedly he deserves our upmost respect as both a coach and even more so as an individual.

Only way I'd like to see a statue is if we are using some of that buyout money to build it.

I wish we could just freeze him in carbonite and defrost him for non conference regular season games.

The players need to carry Les off the field after the A&M game.

Said it earlier, cotton.

Les is the Ned Stark of college football.
On so many levels.

I used to sort of agree with you on Political Talk, but you're sort of a jerk.

Today I agree with you and I hope that I still do after tomorrow. I'm pretty confident tha Les will show his usual class and acknowledge that he himself has badly underperformed the last couple of years. But let's wait and see.

You are right. How about we send him off with about 15 million dollars.
