And LSU kicks the field goal to win at Wisky, is he still our starting QB?

Yes. It was the pick and loss that saved the season!

yes...

but he threw the pick and looked lost against JSU

I still blame the coaches for the crap show of an offense

So don't get me started...Harris was all world in HS, and he has looks to have gotten worse in 3 years under million dollar paid coaches

so you tell me what's going on at LSU

Under Jimbo
JR
RP
and MF

Under Miles, we've yet to recruit one QB and develop him

Yes, as long as we won against JSU with Harris starting. Stubborn Miles would have played him until we lost, all the while telling us QB play was good.

If a frog had wings he wouldn't bang his arse every time he hopped.

Yes, he'd still be starting.

If they beat Wisconsin, he would've had much more time to produce last week. He would have eventually started to move the ball some.

That's not what he's saying. It took losing an opener for Les to feel the heat under his seat despite all the crap that happened last year. The fans were screaming for blood and when Harris stumbled out of the gate last week Les had to make a change.

What OP is asking is if we'd won the Wisconsin game and Harris still struggled out of the gate last week but we managed a win, would he still be the starter. The answer is yes because Les would point to a 2-0 record while promising the O is going to get better. You can say that at 2-0, but nobody wanted to hear it at 0-1 and he knew it.

If he would have come out against JSU and looked serviceable at any point in the first quarter, he would still be the QB.

the transition from HS to major college football is not made by everyone, esp at QB. BH has all of the physical tools to be a great QB but just can't get comfortable and execute the plays. he also doesn't appear to be a leader (called field general).

you can blame the coaches all you want but you are extremely biased not to put the lions share of the blame on the athlete himself.

the teacher(s) have taught BH everything he needs to know (remember BH has a private coach as well and attends highly rated QB camps. it's a shame, but it's also a FACT that it did not translate to the field of play. in a teacher/student relationship the STUDENT is more important than the teacher.

you will probably, like many on here, go straight to our scheme as the other reason BH is functioning so poorly. well, maybe there is something to that and maybe he should not have been recruited to run a "big boy" offense. but a QB will his issues, notably his unreliable accuracy, lack of pocket presence and lack of on the field leadership would have manifested itself in any other system. go back and watch film on the a&m game last year if you don't believe me. the coaches had NOTHING to do with his bizarre inaccuracy.

I feel for the kid but his success or lack thereof is a two way street just like EVERY OTHER ATHLETE ON THE TEAM.

Probably.

That would reverse a negative grade w a positive one

Players are benched because of negatives

les has proven that he won't put the best talent on the field. BH would've played a lot more had he won Wisc game
