The defense isn't really that young, but it is inexperienced for the most part. It doesn't help matters that guys like Ego, Freak, and Loston seemed to have regressed since last season. I'll give Chavis a pass, but I still think that the scheme he runs is just too passive. He's been running the same defense for years and it just doesn't seem to work as well as it used to. Maybe it's time he tweaked it or got rid of it altogether.
