No chance. Miles has his guy in Jennings.

I wonder what goes through the mind of people like that. There's a ton of evidence showing your philosophy doesn't work, and it's getting worse. For the most part, everyone around you is doing something different. When does it finally click?

Jennings looked pretty decent running.

Who's faster Jennings or Harris?

Harris is better in open space
Go watch the New Mexico State game on some of his improvised runs - imagine if they actually designed some runs for him - he would be lethal.
Once you ran several zone reads for him than let him throw it

Some would say that was mop up duty

Harris is significantly quicker than harris. I think it is something that we need to incorporate into our offense. Look at auburn, they don't have the prototypical throwing qb and it works successfully. I think it would do well for us. Our issues are if we can't stretch the field with some sort of passing threat the defense will line up 9-10 people to stop the run. The threat of a running game inside out and backside has real potential. The main part of that is we dont have that OBJ or real speed guy that can run that jet sweep.

If Harris was better then he would had been playing all season long. It's not like he didn't get a chance.

I hope Harris puts on some more muscle if he's gonna be getting hit.

It's not like Jennings has done anything not to give him at least some more opportunities even if it's one series to change the pace and let Jennings watch from sideline.

We have run the read option all year...against A&M Jennings made the right read most of the time...we usually run it twice, Jennings keeps it both times for limited success and then we put it away...

I'll take you back to Oct. 4 and the Auburn game.

Final 30 seconds of first half, Harris scrambles for a huge 32 yard gain. The speed was evident in the open field.

Harris positioned the ball in field goal range with, I believe, ~15 seconds remaining and a timeout.

LSU only runs one play and doesn't even get a chance at a field goal and heads into the locker room with a timeout remaining.

It's fine if Miles wants sit Harris because of that first half performance, but Miles has to take a strong look in the mirror when shite like that happens repeatedly.

He won't, and nobody from the administration breathes down his neck about it.

Well I agree Harris is the better QB for this type of offense and that's why I think it's so dumb when people actually think that Harris will just sit the bench and Jennings is the so called new Jefferson lol..... Just dumb!!! Harris will be our QB and he will be a very good one too. He just needs time to run our offense the way they expect and he needs to. The coaches don't want to get the guy hurt bc he isn't very experienced when it comes to picking up blitzes and what not. I think he should get the bulk of the snaps in this bowl game with a new look offense that compliments his ablitlities and take it into next season. They have the time and practices to prepare him and I have to think that he is close to knowing what he needs to know. He's a real QB and has tons of talent so to the people who say he's not going to be our future QB...... You need to just quit watching and backing LSU FB period. Go Tigers!!! Can you imagine this offense with some imagination on the play calls?? Idk why they haven't tried diffent things like they did against A&M all year and built from that but they have now and I think we see more of it and LSU builds from here onward.

The end of the 2nd quarter at auburn is a reoccurring theme... Time management is terrible. And apparently no one on the side lines is aware
