Hopefully he can break into hit column tonight. If he went hitless for few more games how long would they leave him in the show before they sent him back down. Just hoping he can get enough of a chance before being sent back down. More hypothetical than anything bc I think he will break out soon.

He's 0-9, settle down. They'll give him plenty of time.

Good lord... He has 9 total ABs. The obsession with Bregman is palpable on this board, but this is downright ridiculous. Do you follow baseball or only Alex Bregman... Damn

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit apparently. Pretty simple question. If he continued to go hitless how long would they leave him in the bigs. I didn't say he would stay that way. I even said I expect him not to. Its hypothetical.

AJ Reed went 7-45 and looked overmatched before they sent him back.

Bregman hasn't looked "overmatched" like Reed did.

I expect them to give him a fair shot and I expect Bregman to eventually break through. P&G glasses off though, they are in a playoff race right now and the leash will definitely be much shorter than it would be if they weren't.

With that said I fully expect him to bust out soon and contribute a lot to help get them in the postseason.

It's a legit question. I am curious myself...I really don't know how they handle situations like this. I think he'll start hitting soon though.

lol I thought it was too but people got their panties in wad. We all hope he breaks out. Just curious if he doesn't the time frame. Ultimately the playoffs are their main goal not develop bregs

You're too much, bro.

A legit question is, how patient will they be with him given their needs in the playoff race. A legit question is not... If he misses another strike will he be sent down in the middle of his next at-bat.

Teams do develop players even in the middle of playoff races. Very rarely do they display knee jerk reactions. He will probably get 150+ AB before the season is over. As long as they are quality ABs they will remain patient and give him a chance to hit.

Ask yourself, who is pushing for ABs at 3B in Bregman's place and you may answer your own question. Valbuena is not suited for 3B, who else is there?
