...we might have won on that blocked kick. Look at the blockers he would have had!

Still, what a moment.

I thought he was going to run into the endzone for a second there and I was crapping my pants

he was already on the right side so it made sense for him to rush that way.

He talked about that postgame. He said he knew where he was and wasn't going to take a safety. Then something like, "If I took a safety, I may have just disappeared."

He would have had the blockers, the question is, is he fast enough to run 90 yards without being chased down?

Happened right in front of me and I was thinking the same thing. Run left and give it to Patrick Peterson.

He's about a half step slower than Knowshon Moreno over fifty yards.

If he would have scored, where would you put that in all time great plays in Tiger Stadium? I would say that play would top them all.

Had that happened, it may have been the greatest play ever.
And it would have kept me from having these Monday blues.

no way

now it would have been sweet if he was able to pitch it back to a DB

If he would have ran left and scored, it would go down as the single greatest play in the history of LSU athletics. Move over Billy Cannon. Move over Bluegrass Miracle. Even as a non-student I think I would have been so overcome with emotion I would have stormed the field by myself if that would have happened. TS would have imploded.

It would have been one for the ages had it happened.

yea i think if that would have happened, the whole "act like you've been there before" would have been thrown out the window.

Beckwith is fast no doubt, he ran with Moreno for 50 yards step for step.

Thanks for bringing this up. Now I keep replaying the moment over and over in my head as if he had returned it for the TD. Then I come back to reality and remember he didn't and we lost. Thanks for ruining my Monday to go along with my Saturday. Jerk.

It makes me smile every time I think about how nuts TS would have been. Then I remember that we lost, and it sucks all over again.
