He underachieved. Refused to adapt to modern football and left at least 2 BCS championship appearances on the table.

He was paid more than handsomely for what he did. He doesn't deserve anything from the fans. Adios cowboy. Let her rip somewhere else

I think he lied to the administration and the fans this year. He kept Cam, stayed w Harris and changed nothing on the offense. It's actually worse than last year. He should offer to step aside today ( assuming he gets his buyout). By doing so he could still have the long term respect of most fans

You are a retard if you feel that way. The man gave us high level football for the better part of a decade.

He was divisive.

He was over-rated.

And he was an a-hole.

Good riddance to that PoS.

WTF ever. I use to be afraid of it.. but we are already dropping 5 games a season under Miles..

LSU can win 7 games on talent alone with just about any competent coach.

If Miles, a VERY AVERAGE coach, can come to an established LSU program.. then imagine an actual ABOVE AVERAGE coach with an actual specialty working with this talent.. sky would be the limit.. and at worst.. more of the same.. so why not go for it.

We aren't even competitive in the losses in November.. They are HOPELESS losses.. and yet now.. we already have 2 losses in September..

If Miles was still only dropping a game or two.. I could understand it.. but he's not.. and nothing is changing.. the special teams even suck now.. He just does not prepare his football teams well.. he use to have a great bowl record here, now it's become average.. Use to be a beast with time to prep.. now he's not..

Even if people don't like the hire, Les' time had run..

All of which is false. What did he do that makes him an a-hole?

When I grow up, I'm going to be as awesome as you are.

Why do some "fans" feel the need to dump on the man after he's been fired? I don't get it.

He has been a father figure to some of those kids, they all love him. He loves the school, he loves the city.....

He won a natty, got to another national championship game, beat the living snot out of Virginia Tech, great win against Florida, countless others. He ran a respectful program, overall.

Yes it was time for a change but at least be respectful. You make it sound like for the last 12 years we've been in a ditch.

It's not about what's he been paid. You don't get that type of dedication from a head coach very often. Not every head coach will do what he has done, putting aside football work. Not even every other coach will do it.

You have to respect the man for that.
