Get Floyd work. Get a few guys an inning out the pen. Stay healthy. Those are the only goals that matter. Get ready for next week when shite matters.

If we do win, fine but it’s lagniappe.

I don't want us to kill ourselves out there, but I will be mad if we lose today. I want to win the SEC tournament.

The more I see the rant not care about winning the SEC tournament, the more it makes me believe we need the reps.

I’d rather get a few days extra rest before the real grind starts. We would have to win 3 more games to win the sect. Don’t get me wrong. If we are in the championship game, I’m making the drive and I hope we win. But certainly won’t be angry at a loss today or even tomorrow.

Either way works like you said because if we win I think that means Floyd likely went 6IP and the offense plays well. If that is the case, you have more arms to get work in a semi final game and can build confidence off the offensive performance.

The SEC Tournament doesn’t matter.

If we win, we get more practice.

If we lose, we move on to the one thing that DOES matter.

They only care when the games aren’t being played. Once the first pitch is thrown melts aren’t far behind.

It’s game 59. No one but Floyd needs the innings.

I just really hope yesterday was a weird anomaly with Skenes and not the beginnings of a tired arm.

He hit 102 on his last batter. I don't think you have to worry about a tired arm.

I have full confidence in Skenes absolutely shoving next weekend due to his subpar performance yesterday.

This is my hope and expectation. I think he will be extremely dialed in.

He didn't have great control, especially on offspeed, and Arky just sat fastball and did a great job of getting the bat on it whether it be in play or just fouling it off. A team like Washington that is the projected 2 seed will have trouble getting the bat on the FB. He will be fine moving forward. Next week will be a good game for him to get the FB going and work on the feel of his offspeed again. Skenes is the last thing to worry about on this team.

I'm in the same boat. I wouldn't be mad if we lost, because the game doesn't help/hurt us much at all.

However, on the flip side, I want to see Floyd and the pen pitch well enough to win. And I want to hit well enough to win. So I guess that means I want to win.

I also wouldn't mind getting Coleman another start under his belt tomorrow. Get him stretched out against live bats a little more. That couldn't hurt.

So yeah, I won't be mad if we lose, but I still don't want to lose.

I’d like to win today with Floyd and Herring pitching well. Then have Coleman and Guidry pitch well tomorrow win or lose.

All while hitting well and fielding well. Keep building confidence.

Lose on Sunday with Johnny Whole Staff would be okay too. Or just win it.

I am okay with everything if we play well LOL.

He also had no feel for his breaking ball.
