If he succeeds, the hype that will surround him with LA will be like nothing we've ever seen. Just saying... this would also lock the state talent up to unprecedented levels.

With that said, there are 11 guys I would have offered before him, but if it works out it will be EPIC.

Name the 11 who in your mind could be more successful than Coach O?

I'm rooting for him. He took a beaten down and demoralized team and turned them into winners. Lets see the binder plan being implemented.

Oh I see what you're doing there... that old Miles argument from all of you losers who would reply to every argument with "name 5 coaches" over Miles and then find ways to knock them.

Ok, ready - 40 out of the 50 coaches from the current top 50 ranked schools are more qualified. I'll wait for your critique.

Do you really think it would be hard to name 11 coaches that could be more successful than someone who had a 3-21 SEC record?

I get it that you think O will do great at LSU because we are LSU. But O hasn't proven shite yet as a full time head coach.

by putting realistic in it doesn't make it any more ridiculous of a statement. We are talking about Ed Orgeron, who went 3-21 in the SEC and currently holds a losing overall record as a head coach. Yeah finding 11 coaches better will be so hard.

I want O to do great also, but come on, he has has not proven a damn thing as a head coach YET. Go ahead and hate me for speaking the truth about him though.

Your remark coach O hasn't proven shite yet as a full time coach, well going 5 & 2 without an outstanding qb, a good one but not outstanding one, his record stands out pretty damn strong to me. Losing to florida was a fluke, O should be 6 & 1 , losing to bama 10 - 0 is nothing to be ashamed of. coach O wasn't my 1st choice either, unfortunately Saban, myers,& Herman wern't available.

What? O had a more wins than that this partial season alone? And he broke records doing it too!

If O doesn't have us competing for SEC Championships, he'll be out soon. As long as he keeps recruiting at a high level sanction free, he can do no long term damage to the program.

I'm to the point where I don't think the move is as risky as it seemed at the time and I will give him a chance.

However, I still think the entire coaching "search" was poorly executed. LSU's PR has been horrible this year and Alleva needs to be shown the door. The guy is seen nationally as a joke and I just don't want him running this program.

Weren't you the one that said you were going to cut your dick off if O was hired?

Yeah on an inherited team he rallied the troops to win more SEC games than he did in 3 years at ole miss...where he got worse each year he was there...

O may do great here as a full time head coach and I really really hope he does. To act like he's some accomplished head coach that you can't find 11 coaches in the country that could not do better than him is just ridiculous though.
