went up with friends of mine that are die hard ole miss people and of course they were giving me hell during our game but let me tell you, ole miss is beatable, very beatable. I sat there and laughed during the game as they struggled with Vandy and if the officials hadn't totally bombed the punt fair catch call I do believe Vandy could have put some real scare and even a potential loss on ole miss. Kelly is short and if you take away his reads he falls apart. If we ran the ball on them last year then we will decimate them this year. They are NOT physical.

I wouldn't read much into a game against a shitty team after a big win.

You're forgetting that the game vs. us is Ole Miss's national championship

The fair catch call was actually the right call by the rules, but I agree they are a bit overrated.

I was at their game two weeks before. It's going to be a hard game to win, but of course we can do it.

I hope you are right on OM and they are beatable. They looked good on TV the first 2 games, even impressive, and I hate OM. They are ranked 3rd,so it'll be a tough game.

And the same can be said about LSU in the Syracuse game. Ole Miss came off a huge win & had to come down off of cloud 9 to play Vandy; hard to maintain the same focus you had the week before against bama in that situation. Same thing with LSU; they destroyed Auburn the week before; all of a sudden there is a lot of Heisman talk & playoff/National Championship talk. Then they have to get on a plane to play an early morning game against a "meh" non-SEC opponent.

Good frontline players-they ought to be, Ole Miss is paying enough for them. But they're paper thin. Couple of injuries and there goes their season. And Kelly is a head case. He's liable to throw four interceptions or get caught beating up his girlfriend with meth in his pocket.

Both LSU and Ole Miss looked lethargic after big SEC wins the week before. You can expect both teams to be fired up and ready to play when the time comes.

That kick catch interference call was actually the correct call....

Crappy rule? Maybe.
Correct call? Yes

A lot of football to be played and yes Ole Miss is beatable. If LSU has 2 or 3 injuries in the wrong spots, the Tigers are beatable as well. This goes for all teams in college football. The fact that OM was plus 5 on turnovers against the only team they have played with a legitimate pulse says it all. I agree I wouldn't look too much at the Vandy game. Still way too early in the season to get a good read.
