It's early in the season and it looks like PM is trying different players in different situations to see what works. It's much better to struggle early anhit your stride going into SEC play than will your way over inferior opponents and having to figure it out on the meat of the schedule.

If PM doesn't get it figured out, then he deserves the criticism, but we should reserve judgement for at least a couple of weeks.

I'm not angry. But I don't think this team will have a great season. We just aren't very good this year. We are young and will be ready next year. I don't see what is wrong with saying that

I don't think that is how our fans operate.

No. It is the duty of the rant to panic after the first out of the first inning. Or the first bucket of the game. Or the kickoff return. It's what we do!

Exactly. All of our National Championship teams had lost to multiple teams like this. I'm gonna give it a little time to reserve judgement.

We aren't very good right now.

But if we find a 3rd starter, we will have a really good shot if we can hold on to enough games early to host the regional.

We will be good and get better as the season goes on.

I don't see us making it to Omaha but holy shite, next year will be one of the more exciting years I can remember.

I still stand with the regional host bubble in. Don't like this start but we are a young team and will improve quick.

Baseball is about finding your stride at the right time of year, CPM has a tendency to pull his team together late and play good baseball, well at least till he hits the post season.

yet you, me and others are being railed at about being realists. nothing to get angry about; it is what it is.

there seem to be people on this board that want to whitewash everything. they are "k lady types" if you ask me.

I will continue to call 'em like I see 'em. and I do very much enjoy watching my alma matar play baseball. I like this team a lot even tho my expectations are not high. there is some great young talent; duplantis, stallings, gilbert, romero, etc; these guys are fun to watch, win or lose.

No kidding. It's obvious he's developing players rather than going all out to win. Riley Smith was terrible Wednesday, yet he put him in relief in a close game Saturday night. If that was the playoffs would he have pitched Smith? Would he have played Breaux? Wofford?

Last year we had veterans and big time players. We took that leadership and talent to Omaha.

This season is a rebuilding season. I just can't see this team making it this year due to the youth and inexperience. Next year , we will make a run again.

The good news is that our starting pitching should give us a chance to compete. This season will have some ups and downs. Not expecting much this year.

Yes, fans need to be patient with this very young team. As great a player Warren Morris was, he redshirted his freshman year. We all know how that turned out. This team will get better, but Omaha is in the distant future.
