I think the Vandy game will be close

but not because of LSUs flaws so much as the fact that Vandy, while usualy outmanned, is also well coached. They tend to be a pain in the butt often. It is also going to be a hard game to learn much about our defense because they don't present the kind of air threat we'll see later in the season.
So, I suspect that we'll win but probably by about 10pts.

Well that's awesome but unless they have Tebow at the wheel, I'm thinking it is mainly the "same" on paper. Not so much in real life.

I think LSU will be in control the entire game, but it will not be a blowout like many want to see. I'm predicting something like a 31-10 type score, but many on here will not be happy unless Vandy has 0 yards of total offense and we win 52-0.

Sorry...If we don't win by at least 3 touchdowns and Vandy has more than 250yds of offense on us, we have some major issues. With our talent/athletes, there is no excuse against Vandy...ESPECIALLY at home....

There is nothing that has happened thus far that should make any objective observer believe that this will be anything but a close game. We've got major defensive issues and Vanderbilt is seldom an easy out, especially in the beginning of the season when they can overcome depth issues better than at the end of the season. LSU 24, V 17.
