I think people are setting themselves up......

for a letdown. People are talking way too much about NC. We still have 2 very tough games on the schedule. Not to mention, even if we win those games, its almost impossible for us to get to NC. It's almost comical that everyone is back on the Miles wagon, cause you know damn well, 1 slip up, and you will be calling for his head.
Don't get me wrong,I'm just as fired up as the next guy that we are 8-1, and Miles beat Saban in the best coached second half he has done since 07' NC game. But don't get ahead of yourselves, because it wasn't but a week ago people were done on the season and the coach. Blast me all you want, I really don't care, but just try not to set yourself up for a letdown.

I will be happy with a BCS bowl...the NC scenarios are just interesting to talk about.

I think the NC game is possible but I would be happy with a Sugar Bowl berth and try again next year.

I'm with you, but just trying to be realistic at the same time. I'll be happy if we win 1 of the last 2. But you know too, if Miles loses 1, the ranters are gonna blow up

Yeah, the speculation bus has left the station and is speeding uncontrollable down the interstate.
I am a Miles fan, but Ole Miss is tough usually no matter how bad they are and we do almost always play down to the level of competition.
Arkansas has an offense that we simply can't keep up with.
Yes, our defense hopefully can shut them down, but if the D has an off day, I don't see our O keeping up.
So the MNC crowd needs to calm down and put a break on the bus.
Plus, the Auburn debacle will not be settled anytime soon. I guess it is possible the NCAA rules him ineligible but doubtful if the SEC did nothing there must have been no real evidence.
Still fun to ride the speculation bus at times.

Not yet but LOTS of rumors swirling. Vegas took the game off the boards and big time Auburn message boards are completely shut down as of about 5 minutes ago. It's crazy to say the least.

I agree with all of this. It's fun, but I have to slap myself back to reality.

One of the most fun things about winning a National Championship is the anticipation, the dream, and watching it unfold.
I truly feel sorry for the people in 2003 and 2007 who said "Let's take one game at a time" and "I will worry about a National Championship when it happens".
