I agree with the original post. Enough already. Let's make this about who the best QB is and stop making it so bitter. I have no real understanding of Miles' strategy, but as long as he's the head coach, it's his call. JJ and JL are still just 20-21yo college students. Could you imagine being under that kind of scrutiny?

So how much do you think it costs to allow someone to come to LSU for free?

Seriously, what does it cost the tax payer to not charge a person tuition?

Uhhh...false. LSUs football program is completely self sufficient....it is not funded by the state.

technically yes, but without the school there would be no athletic dept. that is how they go about justifying paying for all these expansion to the general public. its like saying the IRS is self funded.

i agree. Enough is enough. It's counter productive at this point, and it is casting a negative energy on the team/school/program.

It does not matter how much it's said, everyone knows it and the problem will correct itself.

I for one, would love to see JJ come out saturday with guns blazing.

People need to stop with the bashing.

I agree it is getting out of hand. More than 3/4 of the threads have been about JJ. I hope JJ does well against Auburn like last year. JJ needs to shut the negatigers up!!!

I have seen the positigers absolutely rip JLee a new a-hole for stuff that happened 2 years ago all in the name of defending Miles use of JJ. Lee getting hammered by the positigers is on par with JJ getting piled on.

Think about it. We are going to be playing the biggest game since 07. The coaches are doing everything they can to insure victory. Meanwhile, every talk show, every message board, newspaper etc is bitching about JJ. You can't get away from it. It doesn't matter if your a student, player, coach, family member whatever. I cannot believe all this negativity is helping anything whatsoever.

I agree on the criticism, but to think the coaches are not aware of the problem is ridiculous. Do you really think miles isn't aware that JL has led all those TD drives? Do you really think he is not aware of the stats, turnovers etc? Of course he does. The college football season is a strategy all unto itself. Not just the games but the whole season. What i am saying is, that there is most certainly a reason we just don't know and are not in the position to know.

Criticize the coach fine. Call him up and tell you have pictures of him screwing a donkey or whatever. But the bottom line is it does not change a damn thing and the only thing it does is make you look like a idiot.

frick man, get copeland our in front of micheal ford and run over some mother frickers

Agreed. The problem is not with JJ, he is doing what he is told by Les Miles. Les Miles has created the unhealthy situation by playing a QB that has been unproductive while a much more productive QB has been made to stand on the sidelines. Going forward, all responsibility for wins and loses is Les Miles' and his alone.

Seriously guys, I don't think I've seen the Rant pile up on a current LSU player as much as they are piling up on JJ right now.

Lets take a deep breath and just chill for a couple of days. I can put myself in JJ's shoes and I know that being torn down by the fans of the school that I love and play for would either make me start to hate playing ball or I would feel unwanted.

Here's how it works:

When someone on the rant says "Lee should play more" or "Lee should start" stop trying to reply with bs like "JJ is good too" or "JJ opens up the running game / passing game / gives defenses something to think about."

You know that the negative comments are true, yet in defending the player you open p the whole thing to a huge debate.

Put in another way: 1000 ranters total, 990 think that JJ is better, 10-20 post about it. Yet the other 10 ranters insist on trying to "school" everyone else on the facts. Its like denying evolution for crying out loud. You're just asking for the rest of the ranters to jump in.

Give up on denying the facts. People will get tired of posting that Lee should play more and why.

Agreed. The mods are asleep at the wheel. This has been going on for five weeks.
