the long TD to Dural (nice play, but a busted coverage) skews those stats. Take away that one play and AJ's YPA comes way down.

Why are you mofos so fricking stupid? How in the hell do you think guys like Mett, Manziel, and Winston got 10.4+ ypa?

JJ's accuracy in 2011 was 61% and JL's was 62%. Mett's was 59% in 2012.

AJ'S accuracy in 2013 was 45% and his 1st game this yr was 43%. Way too early to make any valid claims on what it will be in the future, but it hasn't improved to this point in time.

Go look at JJ's cmp% in 08 after Lee went down. Look at Lee's multiple ints games after his first game in 08. Look at Mett's in 2012 where he was 40s and 30s in 3 straight games. Jennings has yet to play a cupcake to pad his stats. He's basically played two bowl games against good defenses. When he settles in these next 4 weeks, he'll be way better than he was against Wisconsin.

The first half Wisconsin and Auburn Jennings might be two completely different people.

if he can put it all together, he's going to be a very good qb. I really loved seeing him throw the ball to a spot to a WR right as they were coming out of their break. perfect timing on those throws.

Also, he is accurate on the run too...big plus.

Some guys, a'la Archie Manning, are more accurate on the run, using their stride as a timing device. AJ looks like that may be the case with him, though with Cam's teaching I would expect his pocket passing to improve.

I'm not knocking AJ. I think we if look at his Wisconsin game, the good and the not so good, he had a good game. I don't know how any fan looks at 240 yds, 2 TDs, no ints, and a QB rating of 170 as anything but a solid/good performance for a true So. in his 2nd start vs. a ranked team.

All I said was to this point in his career, his completion rate had been below par for what a OC might want.

Count me in as being wrong about AJ also.

I was one of the 'start the other guy' tards all offseason.

You're absolutely right, his completion % has been horrid. But I think some coaching can help that. Let's see what CC can do with him the next 3 weeks.

Put some touch on the ball AJ, every pass doesn't have to be a bullet.

Well said!

Funny how trolls like Bert Reynolds and CPTBengal suddenly disappear when Jennings plays well

Never really considered him a troll despite his FSU thing. Did think it was strange a Nole posted here so often though.

Hell, FSU is probably my second favorite team after LSU, but that came about after living amongst them all in Jacksonville for 20 years.

I don't know who is a troll and who isn't, but I hope "CPTBengal" is a troll for his own sake cause otherwise the guy has serious intellectual limitations based off his doom and gloom rants.

But don't worry, with the 1st sign of problems for LSU football he/they will return in a rush.

Isn't it obvious...

They're both right handed.

Jennings looked good out there. But as good as he looked, I'm still really excited about B. Harris too

Jersey says Jennings #10 , but all I see is Jefferson #9.
