Dupre was huge and would have been just as big a difference as godchaux would have. Both would be top 2 round talent this year. Though since godchaux is starting he probably made the right decision, like Adams and fournette. But I don't agree with that dupre I think is a game changer especially from what I saw in that game. Minimum he would have pushed Gage and dillon a bit more and elevated there play. Who knows

To be honest, when you are an 8 point favorite on the opponent's field, which in reality makes you an 11 point favorite ( give MSU 3 pts because it's home) it screams to the fans....and even the team that this will be "relatively" easy.

MSU has a very good system in place especially offensively right now that does not necessarily require that Mullen recruit all 4 and 5 stars. Like Oregon under Kelly, he's recruiting specific types and then developing them into his scheme. He's not grabbing a Brandon Harris because he's 4 star. He would recruit a Brandon Harris because he's 4 star QB who fits the criteria he wants . He's not going to take him and try to make him into a pure pocket passer...if tat's not what he's good at.

Also, quietly, he has been getting some quality recruits on the defensive side....like Leo Lewi$

True and in recruiting we have 3 OL commits of which 2 are 3 stars. You don't beat Bama and other big boys with 3 star OLinemen. I think Jeff Grimes needs to go. Need a proven OL coach who can recruit 5 star linemen.
