'95 Alum... Been there, done that, glad that era is OVER!

I was also in The Swamp in '90. Emmitt Smith's Sr. year... Dude ran all over us that day.

The beating he gave Saban with Rex Grossman in 2001 was a sight to behold. Spurrier gave no fricks, and I loved it.

IIRC Emmitt Smith seemed to have a career day every time he suited up against LSU. Damn, I hated to see him on the field against the Tigers.

I will be happy with a complete game and not some lackadaisical type effort that almost gets us beat. Gl to South Carolina and their states recovery.

Les will never run the score up if the situation presents itself. However, we usually get up on someone and as Boosie says, we become timid and hang to win.

I'd like for us to step on the gas, full throttle, and give old Stevie boy a taste of his own medicine. But I doubt we'll be in a position the way we manage games.

Call it class by Les, and it well may be, but just once I'd like to go for the throat.

frick that over-aged frat douche.

frick SC.

Sorry about their flood, but it's not LSU's fault or our problem. frick this hands across America nonsense. Buncha TPoS. Clemson fans were affected by the flood, too. I wonder if they're all crying about SC.

Unless a coach talks shite (Paul Johnson, Bobby Petrino) Les won't run it up. Those 2 guys were asshats, and Les gave them what was coming.

I was at that one. If I'm remembering the same game it was raining and the first play of the game was a play action pass deep for a td. Grossman had such a quick release. Sat through the end of the game in the pouring rain.

I'm all for "helping out" but this shite is getting out of hand. I hope we hang 60 on their asses.

I'll tell you someone else not high on Les Miles' list...Kevin Sumlin. And that was long before Chavis left. I think some things have been said on the recruiting trail in the past. It's also why I think Chavis left on really bad terms knowing how Les felt about Sumlin, it was an extra knife in the back.

I was there. I wore shorts and was freezing my arse off. It was like 51 degrees and drizzling the whole day. Grossman was dropping absolute dimes on the fade routes. Worst beating I've ever seen in person. Could have bee 70-3 if they wanted. I think it ended like 48-10 or something. Awful.

Grossman (vs a Saban defense) - 22/32, 464 yards, 5 TD, 1 Int

Unfortunately the players nor coaches have had the experience of facing the snarky SOS.

That was my freshman year in TGBFTL, so there was no getting up and leaving. I was in the drum line, and we actually had a little revolt and refused to play 1st down cheers in the 4th quarter because of how disgusted we all were. There were 2 bands and no more than 2000 others in the stadium at the end, and no one gave any fricks by that point.

And then we beat Bama on the road (was at that one too) and came within a lousy second half against Arkansas of going to a bowl. That was a strange year.

Just be glad you didn't live next door to huge Gator fans from 1990-2003. They had bragging rights for 11 out of those 13 years. '93 was just brutal.

From what i was told, Spurrier wanted the LSU head coaching position and LSU completely ignored him (not sure the year)n and he enjoyed reminding LSU of this. Anyone else hear this?

I was there too. Also made the trip to Gainesville every time we played during his tenure as coach. Lots of arse whippings witnessed.
