I would personally rather play somebody who also had to come through the losers bracket. Because pitching depth.

A rested Fla with Faedo and Singer, we don't stand a chance.
Should the CWS format be changed.
Does anyone really want to see a championship three game series when one team could be well rested and the other has no arms left?
To me, the two best teams should be at full strength.

Yup. And yeah, I enjoy the 3 game championship series, because the better team usually wins 2/3, but I wouldn't mind going back to one game, just move it to Wednesday so that both teams can be fully healthy. Why would you want a team to have a huge advantage over someone in a game(s) that determines the national champion. These kids haven't had to win 3 straight games in a 4 day span, then turn around and win 2 out of 3 for a national championship all year, so why now?

Win your games and it's no issue. These kids grow up playing every day - but if you open on Saturday and win all 3, you get 6 out of 9 days off. Lose and advance to championship series, you get 4 days off.
College baseball is all about the 3-game series. I like the title being decided by that format.

I would hate to see Florida with a fresh staff against us with a run down staff. Don't thing that would end well at all for us

I agree, but judging by my downvotes, not many other people do. I saw someone mentioned these kids have grown up playing everyday. They have, but not at this level. Look at what happened to Walker, his arm is fatigued from so many innings. We went from looking good on pitching depth, and being able to use Poche out of the pen, to having to burn Gilbert and losing Walker, now our pitching depth is questionable at best. Also, with the 27 man travel roster, that's another hurdle to overcome. I would just rather both teams in the championship to be on an even playing field to see the best baseball possible.

Losses have consequences. Walker hurt doesn't help either.

I'm pretty sure every LSU wants the opportunity to play Florida again. Which would mean LSU making it to the Championship game
