I don't post very often but I do come to this board everyday to read and get caught up on LSU football and politics. With that said....I think this LSU offense is the absolute worst LSU offense I have ever seen play. Even during the Dinardo era the team scored points. My 11 year old son threw for more passing yards and had a better QB rating than JJ this weekend (an 11 year old).

I don't blame JJ totally for his inablity to move the offense, especially in the red zone, I blame GARY CROWTON. The play calling is horrific but JJ only throws to his primary receiver and never checks down. In Lee's only drive he threw to a receiver that was 5 yards short of the first down. JJ did that at least twice, so it must be coaching, because JJ never gets off his primary.

This team finished ranked over 100 in offense last season and they are well on their way to doing the same thing this year. I THOUGHT the coaches were responsible for improving the play of the kids? Well, either the qb is not capable or the coach cannot coach him up. Either way, the burden falls on the coach.

If the play calling and execution is bad in Tiger stadium then I think it is absolutely ok to boo. Most fans are booing the coaches and not the players. People always say...the kids are just amatures they don't deserve to be booed, but Les Miles makes $4 million a year....he is a professional and deserves to be booed when he makes poor decisions or when his offense plays like the 112th worst offense in the country.

So if Les Miles was coaching your child it'd be okay to boo him when his noodle arse arm threw a pick?

Yeah right. You shouldn't boo the coach during the game because the players are the ones who feel it.

Go ahead and Boo if you can find a way to direct it at Miles and Crowton.

Crowton influences the play calling about as much as the guy who paints the eye at midfield. dont you listen to postgame???

The players are NOT fricking stupid. They know this offense sucks. It is either the play calling (COACHING) or execution (QB play) or a combination of both. Either way the COACHING staff is responsible for the end result.

You are aboslutely right. I apologize. My actions are totally out of line. We have an offense we should be proud of...and an OC who deserves our praise.....we can with pride say...we are not last in total offense.

Booing doesn't really help the team at all, but it does show a clear distaste for what is happening on the field. Since most fans have no way of showing their frustration to the coaches and team, I don't fault people for booing. If your son gets booed in a game, u just explain to him why people boo and let him use it as motivation. If he can't handle it. He shouldn't play a high intensity sport like collage football.

Dont apologize. Just dont try to compare your 11 year olds' passer rating to a D1 SEC quarterback and I think people will take you more seriously..

Thank you....these kids are playing at the highest level and expect to be put under pressure. They also expect to excel under pressure. Not ONE fan will ever boo a kid who fails to execute on occasion, but when it happens all the time they have every reason to voice their displeasure. Once again, if the coaching staff does not have someone capable, they are to blame, not the player.

not that this was right, but I remember students yelling "help Mac pack" back in the late 70s.

Get real...my son did not play against a ranked opponent...but guess what...he doesn't play for a ranked team either. My point is that we had 75 fricking yards passing. If you think our running game is that great and our defense will carry us to victory in every game you don't understand football.

I think the players are alright. What I dont understand is why we never let them get in a rhythym. Power run, sweep, screen, option etc. I think Crowton/Miles try to outthink the room.

What is bad, is other coaches obviously see what everybody else sees and it will affect recruiting down the line
