Those rankings are not what determines good players. Go check and tell me where Honey Badger, Mo and Hester were in those rankings. Then tell me where Freak was on the list.

This whole post is actually a compliment to the staff but you are too retarded to see it.
Lsu coaching up the players and you don't like that.

Lsu fans shitting on their team because they don't like the coach.

And we have a shot at finishing 7th in the SEC West this year. How does that happen in one off season? It's a reasonable question to ask about a program as established and respected as LSU.

I blame nothing but QB play this year and for the deficiencies in just about every year. I am not a Miles hater or apologist.

Who said they didn't like the coach? If asking a question about what causes a team to be on the brink of a last place West finish is hating the coach then so be it.

thanks for helping me figure out that CLM fans are average people with low expectations.

I always wonder how many people over the years who've posted on here that they won't settle for "mediocracy!" live in a trailer park in Livingston Parish, drive a piece-of-shite car and never came close to being accepted or registered as a student at LSU.

If you or any other crying lsu fan on here had any intellectual honesty left in them you could see how young this team was after most of the juniors left for the nfl last year. You think a team full of true freshman starting on both sides of the ball is supposed to compete for the title this year? Wow.

You mean like the NFL teams that have taken as many LSU players in the last decade as any other program?

And we finished what, #2 in the country after 2011 - could have been #1. After 2012 season, LSU finished #12. After 2013, you say it was 14th. Ok. And here in 2014, what are we ranked now? Oh - are we unranked in the Top 25 going into this final game of the season?

So here are the recent numbers -
#1-2 (end of 2011)
#12 (end of 2012)
#14 (end of 2013)
No ranking (end of 2014)
As I read them, it is a downward regression.

Because in the last 3 years lsu has lost 21 juniors to the nfl. The next closest program is bama with 10. Lsu replaced its qb, rb,2 olineman (including the guy we ran behind for 3 years) and 3 wrs.anyone that didnt expect our offense to be suspect is crazy. Bama's offense has struggled mightily at times and they returned every rb, their best wr and have a 5th year senior at qb.

He has gained my respect, however as an alum I feel like I can critique my coach when we are paying him top 5 money and he's producing (as of lately) top 40 teams after recruiting top 10 teams for years.

I feel he is a good coach with a great team. As for as recruiting goes, LSU and SEC name recruits for us mostly, I feel if CLM is such a good recruiter then we would have 4 and 5 stars coming from Michigan and the like.

He's losing traction tho and unless he steps it up next year things will change in his office. This was the year of protection with the best offense line yet, however he still recruits these running QBs who lack the skills of pro offensive mindset.

I feel he caved to the pressure and broke BH confidence some in the Auburn game and that's when he got confused at all hell broke loose this season.

Thanks CLM for staying and having some productive years, it's time to get back as an SEC Elite. GEAUX TIGERS

I keep seeing that a few of you want to say that this is the greatest era in LSU history which is true, but for the ones that want a change AT THIS MOMENT, this is also the greatest era in College Football History.

While some of you want to bitch and moan about the success or failure of CLM, ask yourself a personal question, who in your field at your job do you think can do a better job than you can, and whomever that is, go to your boss or email your boss of that person that you deem worthy of a chance to improve the company. Get back to me when it's done.

Crying fans versus apologist fans? I don't think we were capable of wining the title but we obviously can compete (see Ole Miss and Alabama games). But we can also significantly underachieve (see Arkansas game). I guess to the apologist fans now expecting teams to be competitive is asking to much.

I mean we don't have almost the entire O Line back and multiple starters on defense. I think it was expected to have won only one divisional game at this point in the year, right?

So you are all over the place with your argument. Lsu gets players that aren't as highly rated and continues to crank them out to the nfl.

Hmmm seems to be something going on...

Lsu is coaching up their players.

I can't wait for the negative shitting on lsu spin though. Should provide good laughs.

Suspect, yes. Completely inept with no functional QB play, no.

Did you not see the talent that left for the NFL in 2012 & 2013? It's hard to replace that kind of talent. We all knew there was going to somewhat of a drop

However, watching this 2014 recruiting class grow will be fun to watch

Unless you want to cheer for Bama every program has down years. Like i said earlier in all of cfb there are only 4 teams that have won 9 games the last 5 years and lsu is one of them. This is the second time in miles tenure that we have lost back to back games.miles has earned the right to bring us back. Also lsu will win at least 1 of the remaining 2 games. Shouldnt it be noted that even our down year is 8 wins while playing in the hardest division that cfb has ever seen?

I'm not making an argument other than LSU has as much physical talent as anyone in the country and others are saying LSU loses games because they don't have the talent. That and we are the worst team in big time college football at the QB position and QB play has cost us titles.

No other argument from me.

Ive even said Miles has a problem projecting qb talent from young recruits. I thought Cam would help out.

I can't help understanding Miles haters who keep creating new and more boring alters anymore than I can understand the lych mob mentality for agreeing.

All of our great talents are 18-19 year old kids, playing in the most physical conf in cfb. Just take Miss St for example, (the positions im going to list are manned by seniors) 3 starters on the oline, best wr,3 starters on def line, their best lb , and 3 starters in the secondary.
