At least we know in advance we'll be playing at 2:15pm against the #3 seed of the SEC East on March 10th.

Seriously...How is it possible for this program to be at this level?
Bad early recruiting evaluations and over-valuing APR concerns IMHO. Trent set himself two years back with the first four scholarships he gave out.
None of the four are consistent SEC level players and if you are trying to build a foundation, which I'm O.K. with in theory, there must be some hope that somewhere down the line they'll be able to help. I don't see it with those four and we already had enough kids who can't play at this level held over from Brady.

Anytime Chris Bass and Garret Green get substantial playing time,
This! did you see some of the shots these two guys threw up there? Kids on scholarship at this level shouldn't have that many shots that look that bad.
This ain't personal against either of the kids. I imagine they are good kids who work hard. Green has improved more than anyone on the team and I wish Stringer could dribble as well as Bass.
But to be brutally honest there are Sun Belt teams they would be getting less PT on.

They still have a shot at the National Championship

Soon to be 10-11 in about 3 game minutes and a .500 record is crappy in college basketball considering the dregs we played in non-conference.
true dat.
I like those Nicholl's dregs and McNeese dregs. They both gave LSU a bit more than they could handle.
I am thinking that next year LSU has to schedule some NAIA teams from south Oklahoma.
I handle this issue by rooting for Murray in hoops.
I have a BS from Murray.
In the first half, Murray shot 11 for 12 from 3 pt line last night in mashing UT-Martin. Even so, Murray gives you something to wonder about, as they sometimes shoot worse from the free throw line than from 3 pt line. They were 4 for 10 in the first half from the free throw line. And 11 for 12 from 3 pt line!
They lost two conference games by shooting .500 from the free throw line in games in which they won all other statistical categories. Anyway, you all can become honorary Murray fans for the next two weeks, until baseball starts.
