Sankey lied when he said hurricane force winds were forecast for Gainesville when they made the call on Thursday.
Gainesville had tropical storm winds forecast, never hurricane force winds. And on Friday morning even the tropical storm watch for Gainesville was canceled.

I agree. Stanley kept saying we need to come together. frick him. We did everything in our power to accommodate those jort wearing ****s and they turned us down. We tried to come together. Florida wasn't having it.

Sankey also said that he didn't want LSU's travel to force evacuees out of hotels and it was difficult since it was air travel and not bus travel. Complete and total BS.
