I'm worried about next year's attendence decreasing and moron bandwagoners not understanding why we're not as good. TJ's future success and direction we go in the long run and not just this short run hinges on the 2010 recruiting class. Looking like LA will be stacked w/ in state talent in 2010 too. Maybe no Bright, Duhoun, Monroe, or DJ but there's not may of those anywheres. Face it, like Brady or not the team TJ inherited has senior leadership, 2 guys that started in our final 4 run in 06, and the SEC POY if not for Meeks. I love TJ and I'm not taking anything away from him, he's awesome. However, we won't see this type of success again til' the 2011 season, but i'll be there every step of the way.

For the record, I'll sit back and enjoy this season and our run in the big dance but damn we're one big man and true 4 away from legit NC contenders.

It will take success over time to build a larger, more consistent fanbase. The students will always be there in some numbers, but it's the rest of the paying fans that they have to win over FTMP.

In case you meant 2009 instead, also FAILURE LA only has one guy in the 2009 ESPNU 100 and he's #91.

If we were "stacked" we would certainly have some people on this list. Maybe you can enlighten me with some names of "stacked" type blue chippers who arent on the list.

You're a failure. Out of Temple, Taz, Bo, Marcus -- All Louisiana players that are starting on our SEC champion team, only Taz was highly recruited out of high school. The recruiting services have undervalued Louisiana players for decades. Matt Derenbecker, who was at the game last night and is being recruited by both LSU and Florida, is not on your ESPN list.
