I have a feeling Angel's reaction would be "Burrow approved".

I follow sports extensively and I’ve never heard of Caitlin Clark until the Tourney.
You’d have to be obsessed with Iowa Women’s Basketball to have heard of her prior to March 2023.

The real hilarity is that you don’t know enough about the game to realize Reese was one of the most popular and talked about players all season. All of over social media, the most NIL deals, first team all American, etc
“Caitlin Clark might be the best show to ever land on the women's college basketball scene, and the ratings prove it. The Athletic reported that the Iowa-South Carolina Final Four game will, when all the numbers tally up, almost certainly go down as the most viewed women's college basketball game in history.
This is no disrespect to any other player on that court Saturday night, but those numbers can be directly tied to Clark, who has single-handedly brought millions of viewers to the women's game.
People like myself, who haven't watched a full women's college basketball game -- or a full WNBA game for that matter -- in years, made sure to be in front of a television for the Clark show in the national title game on Sunday afternoon, only to see Clark get hit with her third foul in the second quarter, her fourth foul in the third quarter, and as a result have to sit on the bench for stretches and play extremely carefully when she was out there.
Iowa lost the game to a better LSU team, which was dealing with some foul trouble of its own (Angel Reese, a fantastic player, had to come out an unplanned times; same with Ladazhia Williams). That's not the point. The biggest loss of the night had nothing to do with the final score. The biggest loss of the night was the opportunity the women's game had to put its best foot forward for the full 40 minutes.” https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/what-nba-can-learn-from-caitlin-clarks-foul-situation-in-ncaa-womens-national-championship-game/amp/
An average of 5.5 million people watched Caitlin Clark and the Iowa women’s basketball team upset South Carolina in the Final Four Friday night. The national semifinal matchup generated better viewership than each of the last 17 NCAAW national championship games, according to Sports Business Journal’s Austin Karp.

So you didn’t watch LSU in the NCAA Tournament last season? If all you did was watch the bracket reveal you would have heard of Caitlin Clark.
Did I watch women’s bracket reveals a few years ago, no i didn’t. But when LSU was going to be a 3 seed last season I watched to see who we matched up with.

That’s your own ignorance. People who follow sports knew about Caitlin Clark for a couple of years now. Angel Reese got all the attention down here, but she wasn’t even given respect by the media voting for SEC Player of the Year. Was she a finalist for the Naismith Award for National Player of the Year? No, Caitlin Clark won that. Media outside of Louisiana all said Angel padded stats against weak competition.
Caitlin Clark had NIL deals with Nike, Goldman Sachs, HR Block before the tournament. Kevin Durant and Steph curry have talked about watching her all season. But Angel is the Queen. Lulz.

Please, people have been talking about Reese all season because of her double-doubles. I didn't know about Caitlan Clark until the tournament, really the Elite-8.
That's because you're an LSU fan and not an Iowa fan. You not knowing anything about the national player of the year is your own fault.

I wasn’t knocking Clark. Her honors are well deserved.
I was just pointing out what could have motivated Angel to have that out burst of emotion the last minute of the game.

People who follow women's basketball you mean. Those same people also knew who Angel Reese was.

They were talking about her then? And did they say that after she played a full slate of SEC games? The SEC had 7 teams receive a tournament bid, 4 made the sweet 16, 2 made the final 4.
Saying Angel's actions toward Clark are what made her famous as though Angel should be thankful to Clark is nonsense.
Both were known, excellent players before this, and both had a following outside of just the local school community.

What does ‘Black’ have to do with anything?

Vags would be gushing if Clark did the same thing.
Y’all would be saying the same thing.
You know it.
