I love how we already have our pre-made built in excuse for losing to Miss state

Ok I'm not saying we will lose but I find it funny we're already whining like we are going to lose because a game against McNeese was canceled

I see this as advantageous for the Tigers:
1) No injuries in a non-factor game
2) Coaches/players get to watch MSU/Southern Miss film
3) MSU confidence may be a bit compromised after struggling with an opponent they should not have struggled with
4) We are fresh and ready to rumble

Any way you slice it other than the fact that we suffered no injuries, not playing the game is bad. That was the first opportunity for the Tigers to face someone not in a white or purple practice jersey. It was the first time they could mesh as a unit. It's most definitely a set back. Will it cause us to lose? Meh I'm not sure it makes THAT much difference. Is it unfortunate? Absolutely...
