But what about a guy like Chad Morris? Runs a dynamic offense called the "Smashmouth Spread," Developed 2 heisman candidate QBs. More experienced than Herman. Malzahn and Freeze disciple. Yeah he's in a tough situation at SMU, but the offensive talent can flourish under his control (Especially Harris and Fournette)

If this all shakes out as expected, there won't be a need for a #2.

That'd be fine. Whatever. At this point I'm getting tired of thinking about it. Just somebody.

"F Herman."

I wish Herban meyer had said that, then we wouldn't have to listen to OSU fans yapping about their NC last year.

Not only that, but LSU is not going to roll the dice based on ONE season as a head coach. If he keeps it up, yes, he will get bigger offers, but LSU is not his destination.
At this point, I would be disappointed if we don't get Jimbo.

I encounter a lot of Clemson fans who are glad Chad Morris is not there. His offenses are very good but can be stopped by good defenses. (see FSU vs Clemson). Morris likes to run the quarterbacks and they get dinged up quite a bit.

Some of the Clemson boys like Streeter much better than Morris. And I will say this, he beat FSU first time out but FSU doesn't have much of a quarterback this year. Our quarterback is starting for Alabama.

Which shows how little people know. Herman had Ohio St rolling most everyone while using three different quarterbacks, and now he's got Houston rolling in one year.

I want Miles and LSU to part ways, but hiring Jimbo will be a mistake. Period.

I think it's Jimbo or keep Miles. Les will not be fired if there isn't a sure thing already in waiting.

What's the difference between Herman and Mullen? Mullen has been running the same offense as Herman in the SEC for years and has been successful with less talented players than LSU
