Our OL is the best they've seen all year. Hopefully we have everybody back.

Or RB combo of Guice/Fournette is the best they'll see all year.

Our defense is the best they'll see all year

Talent wise we match up.Haven't been this excited for a Bama game since the Mettenberger/Hill/Beckham game

If the O Line plays good, we win.

You weren't excited last year when we were undefeated, #2 team in the country, and abusing every team we faced with the best running back in the country and Heisman favorite?

No because I thought Alabama would load the box and make Harris beat them. They don't have that luxury this year

Last year being undefeated at the time was fools gold. There is a quite a different feel to this team right now despite the two losses.

This is exactly what we were saying last year at this time. Then Bama abused our offensive line.

Etling better punish Bama through the air in the first half. Otherwise we will be massacred.

I go with this. This is different in many ways.

If the refs stay out of the game and let them play - we have a really good shot.

What's the deal with all of the down votes for this post?

Some of you are so traumatized by the gumps that it's comical.

Grow some fricking balls and get pumped up.

The refs will never stay out if the game. The non-call is their strongest weapon and it is used against every gump opponent. We will have to beat them and the team.
That's the way it's always been.

Two things I think are the difference from last year other than the obvious coaching change. 1. Our guards are older and better esp boutee who won't be getting manhandled by anyone. 2. ARANDA!

Biggest LSU advantage: Miles isn't coaching. If we gain a lead, we won't sit on it and play conservative.

Not disagreeing with any of this, but this is the EXACT stuff that was said last year before this game. I'm not setting myself up for disappointment. I hope we come out on fire and play the the game of their lives. Just not ready to get cocky and act like we will win this game hands down.

Actually no I wasn't because Les Miles was roaming the sideline and Harris was QB and everyone knew what was coming with Bama putting 8 in the box and daring Harris to throw and Miles being stubborn and stuck to his game plan in running straight at it and that is exactly what he did...

Says who? Etling is far and away better than Harris but he's made mistakes and against lesser defenses. A few QB's have shined against Bama this year but is Etling as good as any of those guys? Look, I'm glad he's starting and he certainly gives us the best chance to win, but this isn't Ole Miss' defense we're about to face and he's no giant killer.
