The young tailbacks really shined particularly Ware very quick good vision hard to bring down.JJ only threw downfield once a throwaway after protection broke down.He looked no different than last year to me.JL ended the scrimmage with two beautiful throws to James Wright the second a fade for touchdown. The first was a back shoulder throw that Wright went up a took away from Mathieau. He did miss an open reciver over the middle with a high throw that should have been picked.JJ pick six was a bubble screen to Randle where Tolliver whiffed on the block. The D did look very fast cornerbacks were in tight coverage all day.Mathieau was a very pleasent surprise he was the third corner with ones entire time. PP and Claiborne are kick returners PP handled all punt returns very cleanly looked good doing it.First Oline looked better than last year very little quick penetration and some small creases in running game.Ridley had two good runs against #1 D late in the scrimmage.Sheppard touched the ball at least 10 times out of 35 or so plays. He took snaps in shotgun, under center, handoffs and reverses.Another easy to see was all the Blitz paxkages corners, sefeties LB'rs and some zone blitz with the Dline dropping in th coverage.Mingo and #94 had wouldbe sacks and many presuures. And FYI the field looked great and was a very fastt track.Any questions fire away I got 30 minutes.

Did the 3 LB positions see a lot of player rotation?

Shep throw a pass? What did Zach Lee look like? Who took most of the snaps in Baker's place, and did Kelvin play inside or outside most of the time?
TIA Bud.

Ware and Mathieau by far .We ran lots of 2 LBrs with Mathieau in the game.Francios laid a few good licks and the whole #1 ran to the ball well.

1. How did Murphy look?
2. Did JJ or JL look more comfortable under center?

What was the starting D-line today?

Was not impresssed with Ford Ware and Blue both showed a burst and broke tackles.Ware ran twice out of th gun for big gains.Loston played a lot with the 1's when Jai was out.Very few passes down field bth QBs threw it away numerous times under duress

I think that maybe you should just go ahead now and change the subject line to "redfish99 Q&A Thread."

Have we found a QB yet, or does Josh Booty have any eligibility left???

Thanks so much for the report--what about the DE's--Montgomery, Edwards, Adams, anyone else there do anything of note? And does Wright have a chance to make an impact this season?

How many snaps did ZL get -- anything you could tell about his interest?
Was there any explanation to Ford's subpar stats?
You said JJ didn't look different, did JL?
What kind of yardage did Shep get on his 10 touches?
How did Barrow look filling in for Baker?
