Why couldn't they review all the first downs and runs out-of-bounds on that final drive against Auburn where the clock kept running when it should have stopped. That game should be retracively be awarded to LSU on the basis that there was in fact time left when Danny threw the go-ahead touchdown, and plenty of it at that.

Ladies and gents, this is why people think lsu fans are idiots.

Not that easy to let go when you spent time and money to go watch that mess.

The standing rule is you must have at least 2 seconds, with a running clock, to run a play, LSU had 1. Understand?

Link that rule

It's fricking incredible that people out there agree that every first and out of bounds play ONLY during the lsu final drive at a game in auburn should have been reviewed. The outcome of the game totally ignored, do you not understand how insane that sounds? I don't know why I'm even arguing on this board anymore

What's more amazing is, if there was 1 more second on the clock, Miles wouldn't have been fired at that time and we would have had at least 100 more " Fire Miles" threads.

The more you know.

You have completely missed the point.

Nope, they didnt review if there was any time left on the clock at the end of LSU/Auburn. They didnt have to. We did not have enough time to run a play.

Link that rule

players must come to an absolute stop and remain stationary in their positions for at least one full second before the ball is snapped, without movement of the feet, body, head or arms

Rules pg 75

If the line must be set for a full second once the ball is made ready for play and the clock is in motion, there is no way to get a play off with only 1 second on the clock.

So, a team would need at least 2 seconds to get a play off legally when the clock is in motion.

That isn't what the rule says

quote:

and the clock is in motion,

The clock wasn't in motion until the ball was set.

And you intentionally left off the beginning of the rule

quote:

ARTICLE 2. a. Shift. After a huddle (Rule 2-14) or shift (Rule 2-22-1)
and before the snap, all Team A players must come to an absolute stop and
remain stationary in their positions for at least one full second before the
ball is snapped, without movement of the feet, body, head or arms (A.R.
7-1-2-I).
b. False Start. Each o

It isn't a rule, and the full second doesn't require the ball to be set ready for play either....

Furthermore, that would be a penalty and is not reviewable

I'm sure all the Tennessee fans think we're idiots for complaining about the same cheating technique that Florida used against them in 2015 that they vocally complained about which cost them that game.

Yeah, let's all sit silent while we're being raped so Ed Osteen is happy.

You know, because clock operators' cheating to benefit the home team determining the outcome of two SEC games in two years is no big deal. We shouldn't talk about it. It might make us look bad.

It's true. Ed Osteen himself said so. And he's smart. He must be. He likes being raped by other men and thinks it's cool, and that anyone who complains about it is stupid.

Hope that dick feels good Ed.

Offense has to be set for a full second before the snap. With running clock it's not possible to get the play off with 1 second showing on the clock

SEC offices are in Birmingham. LSU always gets bad calls and bad officiating.

I wish there was some way for there to be a challenge when there is an obvious penalty that wasn't called, such as offensive holding. If so, the Jalen Hurts TD run against LSU would have been rightfully negated as there were two or three Alabama players who were holding on the play.

How can the refs at the end of the LSU-Auburn game immediately go to review to determine if any time was left on the clock? Yet at the New Orleans bowl, it took 2 timeouts before the play was reviewed at the end of the half when the first replay clearly showed that time had expired before the QB spiked the ball.
Didn't see the New Orleans Bowl, but was there a score on that play?

All scoring plays are reviewed, hence why the LSU play would be reviewed immediately. It doesn't sound like a score occurred if there were 2 timeouts called in the other one.
