How can the refs at the end of the LSU-Auburn game immediately go to review to determine if any time was left on the clock?

Yet at the New Orleans bowl, it took 2 timeouts before the play was reviewed at the end of the half when the first replay clearly showed that time had expired before the QB spiked the ball.

Because all touchdowns are reviewed.

Yes it is not easy to let go. There were so many seconds wasted prior to that play it was ridiculous. It did result in getting Coach O as the Head Ball Coach.
Not that easy to let go when you spent time and money to go watch that mess.

It's just a fricking game. If you're still having trouble letting go because of the time and money spent...Do yourself a favor and never go to a game again.

It is not about letting it go for that game. I just want consistent officiating. Not talking about judgment calls....I know those will be inconsistent. But consistency about rules and reviews.

In this case, Southern Miss hurried to the line and spiked the ball at the end of the half. The refs put 1 second back on the clock without any kind of a review. Southern Miss was about to kick a short field goal But it it took 2 timeouts by ULL before the refs decide to review the clock. It was clear on the first replay shown during the first timeout that time had expired.

For how many years?

I used to go to all games when I lived in Atlanta. Now that I'm closer, I don't go to many away games any more. I guess Atlanta was closer to most of the away game sites.

That's impressive.

I wouldn't consider North Carolina halfway across the country.

I've been going to games since the early 80's, but I haven't been as fortunate as you to go to all bowl games since 1935. I'm sorry that you missed one of the four championship games.

SEC offices are in Birmingham. LSU always gets bad calls and bad officiating. The offices should be moved to Baton Rouge. Why not?

Why couldn't they review all the first downs and runs out-of-bounds on that final drive against Auburn where the clock kept running when it should have stopped.

That game should be retroacively be awarded to LSU on the basis that there was in fact time left when Danny threw the go-ahead touchdown, and plenty of it at that.

You are right. It sucks the refs in Sec are biased and actually cheat. People dont care about cheating any more.

The standing rule is you must have at least 2 seconds, with a running clock, to run a play, LSU had 1. Understand?

Last night they were trying to determine if the clock was stopped.

Apples. Oranges.

It's called officiating. It's a joke in all sports. This is why I stopped watching the NBA many many years ago.

You live alone, right?

Or do you just pick on people with low post counts?

Had tickets to the 2012 BCS championship game agains Alabama in the Dome, but had to travel to from Israel to see it, work emergency got it the way of my travel and my 2 X $800.00 tickets went unused. That was my only attempt to attend a bowl game. Hind sight says that I saved $7600.00 by not attending because the business class tickets were $5000.00 apiece at the time and we didnt players well. I get to move back to the USA next year and will not miss another as long as I am able.

It must be challenging for you to watch an entire football game. I'm glad I'm not this incompetent
