This guy has been the epitome of what a student athlete should be. He came to LSU from the Dallas area without a whole lot of publicity when he could have gone elsewhere in his backyard like TCU, SMU, or even Texas or A&M and probably would have been a key player much sooner than he was here.

He was just buried on the depth chart behind some very talented players and had to contribute on special teams while waiting his turn on defense. He has never, to my knowledge, been in trouble, and seems to be one of the best teammates anyone could wish to have.

His patience has paid off this season as he has seen much more playing time and has been a key contributor to the 11-0 run.

Here's to success for Ron Brooks in football, if he's able to make a career out of it, but most of all here's to a successful life in whatever he chooses to do. He deserves the best...

Ron brooks is one of my favorite tigers this year. Very underrated, would be a superstud on any other team.

EACH senior should get a huge ovation for what each has contributed as a member of this LSU football TEAM!

I can't agree more! Ron Brooks last year during the beginning of the season was constantly pumping up the TIGER fans when the offense was flat. I too hope for a great future for him. He had a Helluva game Saturday night vs OLE MISS.

He will. He plays awesome and I've always liked him.

He's his own best cheerleader too. I remember in the game against UW a couple years ago, he's down there pointing to the fans before a kickoff, doing the "get loud" stuff with his arms, he just loves being out there.

Great kid.

Every one of the seniors will get a proper ovation, especially the ones who mostly played a role for 4 or 5 years.

I remember watching him in the Peach Bowl thinking he was going to be the next great DB @ LSU along with PP7. He has yet to let me down. Thanks for the highlights RB13!!!!

Dude's been one of favorite players for the last 3 years. It always seems like he loves contributing in any way he can. I respect players like that. I wish him well in anything he does

This may cause some to question to my fandom, but when I saw him on the list of Seniors I was shocked. I guess I just never realized it. I'm starting to love him this year, too...been doin' work.

One of my all time favorites

He plays with a passion that you don't often find.

His weight room #s for his size are incredible; just another testament to his work ethic and passion.

Pound for pound he might be the strongest person on the team. Even stronger than Ford
