Living in Michigan, nobody thinks very highly of us here.. lots of Notre dame fans talking out their arse and obviously a lot of Michigan fans who I’ll have y’all know are miserable. Probably the worst and most stuck up fan base around, at least Clemson and Bama fans can back it up with their teams results. These fools act like they are kings and they haven’t accomplished anything in forever.

So when I first moved to North Carolina, I was in the grocery store and got so excited to see someone wearing black and gold. (I moved to CA after graduating from LSU and moved to NC from there, so it had been many YEARS since I had spotted black and gold in a grocery store.)

I gave him a big Who Dat! and he looked at me like I was insane.

It was then I realized he was wearing Wake Forest gear.

don't disagree. But it sure was sweet to call over a Tide co-worker while I was coming back from lunch. I rolled my window down and said, come here this. We share political leanings show she was assuming it was something on the radio in particular, etc. Blared up "HOLD THAT TIGER" on my CD player. Lame, but who cares.

I'm in Cleveland, living among Buckeye fans, although there are some other LSU alums teaching at the same university where I work, and we've been having fun this week. OSU fans are disappointed they didn't get to play us, but they were glad we beat Clemson. For several years after our 2007 championship I would always make a point to wear LSU gear when taking my daughters out for trick-or-treating. When people would remark on it, I would just say I was in costume...as OSU's worst nightmare. Would have been nice to revive that tradition this year.

It’s been great in West Palm Beach. People I know around town coming up and congratulating me like I was on the staff or something. What a season of greatness.

I’m in Los Angeles. One of my best friends is LIVID that USC gave up Orgeron and is now stuck with Clay Helton. Many out here feel that coulda been USC on Monday. Instead they’re stuck with losing Holiday Bowls. When it was announced after that Bowl game that they were retaining Helton, many out here went berserk!!

I thought it would be sweeter living amongst OU fans... for reasons ov vitriol and sour grapes and the like.

But honestly they're in awe of what LSU did almost as much as we are.

It's still pretty nice, just different than what I expected.

I walked into our local gym at Mississippi College of which I have been a member now For not 1 not 2 But 3,
Three National Championships, (damn time flies)... Now 90 plus percent of the members are Ms. State, old ms. Fans. I never rub it in when we win because I'm older now but Tuesday afternoon when those doors slid open I let out the loudest:

"Tigerbait, LSU, Hell Yeah"
, Now I'm a very loud person normally but this was like stadium loud, I scared the crap out of quite a few people, most just said congratulations Charlie, what a game, that Burrows somethin else.Yes being from Louisiana for me is just PRIDE. Some on this board talk about all that's bad with NOLA, Baton Rouge etc.
F that, LOUISIANA PRIDE ! GEAUX TIGERS
